When we first stepped into our room, we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke so we turned around and went back to the front desk. We were given another room, which smelled like some kind of product was used to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms had signs in them stating that all rooms were smoke free. Besides that, there was a used bottle of water left on the nightstand and paper on the floor under a table. Not cleaned well?
The other problem was that the guest rooms were located around the perimeter of the swimming pool and you could hear all the noise. There were over a dozen kids in the pool and hot tub so we didn't even attempt to go there. We like kids but this was a weekend getaway. At 10:30 p.m. we were trying to sleep, but the kids were screaming. My husband got up and went to the front desk to complain about the noise. The front desk manager didn't do anything about it, just stated that pool hours were from 8 am to 11 pm. A lot of hotels allow the kids to swim until 8 or 9 pm allowing adult time for an hour or two after that. We were looking forward to using the pool and hot tub.
We will never return to this hotel!
