Betty on Bayview - Surf Beach

Betty on Bayview is the perfect location for when visiting the picturesque Phillip Island. Located just 500 metres walk to the spectacular surf beach and overlooking the Swan Bay, this open plan house will make the perfect getaway. Betty has a relaxing holiday vibe with 2 bedrooms downstairs and a loft that sleeps 4. The main living space consists of a lounge, kitchen and dining all opening up to the wrap around deck overlooking the large grassed backyard to enjoy a game of backyard cricket and/or kick the footy by day and enjoy toasting marshmallow's around the fire drum at night. Wake up to the orange glow of the sunrise over Swan Bay from the loft queen bed. Whether planning a family holiday or romantic weekend away Betty has it all.

Lovely property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was roomy, comfortable and very clean and was a great getaway with the extended family. The decking extended the living area of the house and the backyard was amazingly flat and big and was perfect for not only the kids to play but also the dog to have a great place to run.The host were great in their communication and were easily accessible. The only negative was that the property did not have wifi.

Cozy but

The place is nice and cozy, easy to find, good if you have lots of activities during the day and just need a place for the night to sleep. However, if you want to watch Netflix or Chromecast make sure to bring a projector as the TV is small like the one Michael Scott from the Office had haha. There is also no wifi available, so hotspot and data is beneficial. Place would be good for the summer as the sheets provided were very thin and does not provide much insulation. Overall nice and pleasant stay, but wouldn't stay for more than a few days.

Convenience in an idyllic spot

The property was well situated not far from the beach. Quiet location enabled you to feel you were away from the stresses of your busy life, despite hearing the hum of the main into Phillip island. The entertainment area was big to accommodate a family comfortably.

Accomodation was nice & bright & exactly like the photos. Loved the little loft bedroom! Unfortunately we found the dishes & cutlery a little dirty & the knives quite blunt. Would definitely come back!

Convenient and peaceful

This stay offered just what we were looking for... peace and rest in beautiful surroundings. A highlight was loft! Kids enjoyed it.They enjoyed their read, play & talks in attic. Full moon was beautifully visible from living area where as bright sunrise in loft was adequate to wake kids up by themselves 😄. We all played summer sports in big backyard. Ocean is just visible as neighbourhood bush is covering lot area. This place can have magnificent ocean view if those bush are not there. (just mentioning potential-it’s not owners’ fault). Kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, oil & handful seasoning, Coffee machine & coffee pods. We didn’t have any pets with us but I think it’s very kind of owner to keep pet food and bowl. Location wise it’s an excellent find. Beach, Cowes, market everything is nearby yet quiet & peaceful surroundings. Lots to do nearby at cowes. . Lives up to the photos and name of this great stayz.

Light and Bright

Lovely property exactly as listed. Easy walk to the beach. Jade was super responsive and welcoming. The kids loved the loft bedroom. Would definitely recommend.
