Grand Mercure Wakayama Minabe Resort & Spa

"While our stay at this location was short, it was fantastic. They have put in quite a bit of work to make the hotel clean and well taken care of, they rent electric assist bicycles to get to town for groceries or exploring. My family loved the hot springs. Laundry onsite. Beautiful beach nearby, although not great for swimming or snorkeling it was very pretty, quiet, and private. Staff is incredibly helpful. They sell packages that include breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. The buffets are HUGE with tons of food and drink options. I 100% would stay here again."

"We were greeted warmly by the staff. Their English was very good and they explained all the amenities. We appreciated the drinks and snacks between 17:00-19:00 I’m also glad we booked a room with a view of the bay. We had an excellent stay"

"The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The location is great. The kumano kodo trail is right behind it. This onsen town will be amazing to visit in winter, it was too bad that we were there in summer!"
