Super cute cottage from I’m guessing early 1900. With some modern updates. Amazing view of the balky and mountains. Lots of birds to watch and hear. Highly recommend would definitely stay again.

Affordable, quiet, with all you need, great location and beautiful setting.

The hosts were great with communication, everything in the house was perfect for our needs, close to shops,walks,lookouts, and the backyard has a lot of visiting birds. Which I also love.

Girls road trip

Great comfy place ideally located for some of Blue Mountains main attractions. The cottage has a great view over the mountains. Nice comfy sofa and beds. Try the pizza bar next to Katoomba station for best pizza in town

Concert break

The property was clean comfortable well heated and everything we needed was supplied. The views were beautiful and the owners very easy to deal with. Enjoyed our stay . Very relaxing

Wow. What a view!!! Absolutely breathtaking. Description of house is 100% accurate

We were there is Aussie winter and none of the houses have central heating so it is absolutely no criticism of the house. You just need to be aware. They provide electric blankets (thank you!!) and a space heater but it is hard to heat the whole house. View and sunset simply gorgeous Thank you!!

Aurora - beautiful cottage

this cottage is small, but it has everything in there you need for a short (or may be even longer) stay. Unforgettable view, very clean and warm in Winter. Close to Everything in Katoomba- restaurants, shops, attractions and tracks. Definitely will come again

The view was as good as the photos suggest. Beautiful sunsets and watching the sun reveal the valley in the morning. Well provisioned house, we found everything we needed. Thank you!

I need to come back

First trip (short) to experience the Blue Mountains. The cottage was perfect, location, peacefulness, equipment, but the weather was not on our side unfortunately.... Full day rain ! We will come back, different season, and we will rebook the house without any problem.

Spring garden cottage.

We were welcomed by a charming spring garden, with lovely valley views to wake up to each morning, and beautiful sunsets to enjoy in the evening. The house was comfortable, warm, and met our needs. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would be happy to go back. An internal laundry would have been nice- no mention was made of it being in the garage. Rain proof access to it would be helpful. Suggestion- The kitchen frypans need replacing.

Cosy cottage with a beautiful view

Really enjoyed our stay at Aurora Cottage and in the Blue Mountains in general. Kristen was very helpful in explaining the check in process and kindly accommodated us with an earlier check in option. The cottage has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen with some lovely extras. It is small and nothing is "new" but for us staying with younger children that made it comfortable and it was great to see some games and books there. The bathroom has seen better days but was fine for what we needed. The heating works really well in the cottage and the shower was strong and the water was hot. The view from the living room and kitchen is magnificent. We even saw a wallaby outside :) and I loved the back garden. It's five minutes drive to the centre of Katoomba and even closer to Scenic World so very convenient if you are driving. It's fairly tight parking for a 4WD (just getting in the gate) but doable. Thanks Kristen, we had a good stay.

Quaint, cosy, character-filled cottage.

A quaint, cozy cottage perfect for our small family of three. The most striking feature when entering the property is the gorgeous uninterrupted view of the valley. The cottage has a rustic appeal with its retro furnishings, comfortable living area, and thoughtful provisions such as a Nespresso coffee machine, cooking essentials, and generous provision of pillows and towels. Bedrooms - the queen bed is SO comfortable with lovely soft bedding and sheets. Double bed in the other bedroom was much firmer and I didn't find it comfortable to sleep on. The bedrooms have no heating, but electric blankets are provided. We stayed in April so it didn't get too cold, however, I imagine it would be cold in the bedrooms if staying in the Winter, and this could be accommodated with the provision of oil heaters. We loved the colourful front and backyard gardens which were a joy to explore, and enjoyed having a drink on the front verandah overlooking the gardens. The cottage could do with some cosmetic upgrades, in particular fixing the bathroom door, replacing rusty fittings in the bathroom,and a rubber strip at the base of the shower door to prevent water soaking the bathroom floor. The living area needs a floor lamp to create ambient lighting at night instead of having bright lights overhead. The host Kristen was very reliable. She provided detailed and helpful information prior to check-in, and kindly accommodated us with an earlier check-in time. We loved our stay at Aurora Cottage.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location with a wonderful view of the surroundings. The place was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Four adults and two children fit comfortably, so it was perfect for a family getaway. Highly recommended!
