「An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. 「We had a mixed experience during our stay. When we arrived around 10 PM, we had to wait outside the hotel for about 15–20 minutes before someone opened the door, despite ringing the bell and knocking several times. Upon check-in, our reservation could not be found, which made for a stressful start to our stay. The hotel itself is charming and comfortable. However, there were several service issues. 「We loved the proximity of the property to Camps Bay residents & beaches which were less than 5 minutes away. The staff was friendly, helpful on arrival and sparse the rest of the time. Yet, the property is fairly self sufficient so it was not a big deal. The property is in good shape, safe, clean, fresh paint … the amenities are not very important other than the garage which was super handy for our car. We would definitely stay here again.」
