Frank the manager, host and bartender met us at the the dock in the evening with a complimentary explanation of the facility and the surrounding area. The meal was personally catered with a dietary adjustment upon the checkin. The house reef out front was excellent for swimming and snorkeling also within a 30 minute kayak distance to one of the finest coral gardens in the islands.

Our stay was nice, and the employees were friendly. Let's say the bungalow needs some restoration. But convenient to the local store (not much on the Island if you like limited service). used their kayak every day. Good side of the island.

Hotel vétuste. Rapport qualité prix désastreux.

Hôtel délabré et vétuste. Les photos doivent avoir bien plus de 20 ans... Propreté et confort très moyens, pour ne pas être trop méchant... : tasse toute tachée, lunette des toilettes cassée, porte des toilettes qu'on ne peut pas fermée, porte des armoires branlantes, TV qui ne marche pas... Nous n'avons pas non plus spécialement apprécié de passer la nuit avec de beaux geckos (gros lézards). Enfin, positivons, maintenant on connaît bien leur petit cri strident... Quasiment pas d'eau dans la douche car pas de pression dans tout le quartier sauf qu'on a discuté avec des touristes logés tout proche qui n'ont pas eu de problème. L'hôtel nous a expliqué que, suite à rachat des murs par un grand hôtel, ils ne souhaitaient pas faire de rénovations. Ce que nous pouvons comprendre mais alors pourquoi louer 190 euros la nuitée un bungalow largement "défraichi" ? La bonne humeur de Franck ne suffit pas à tout effacer... D'autant plus quand il annonce prendre les frais de transfert à sa charge (pour s'excuser des désagréments qu'il reconnait sans peine) et qu'en fait on doive payer directement le taxi lors de notre départ... On peut parfois accepter une certaine vétusté mais pas à ce prix là ! Je déconseille fortement...surtout à ce prix là !

Tres agreable pension de famille

Malgre la pluie, ces deux jours a Tahaa ont ete tres agreables. Le bungalow etait spacieux et bien equipe, la cuisine du restaurant traditionnelle et délicieuse ( vraiment) et Damien et son equipe aux petits soins. Le coucher du soleil sur Bora etait fabuleux. L’un des plus beaux. On recommande!

The snorkeling off the dock was amazing. Great location by the sea and nice to have the kayak available to take to the coral garden. Also, they let me check in early which was so helpful!

Pension de luxe sans le luxe

Chambre jolies, lits confortables, emplacement idéal mais problème de qualité / prix, 300€ la nuit par chambre mais pas de wifi, pas de ménage ni changement de serviette en 3j et mobilier cassé viennent ruiner la qualité du séjour. La réaction de la propriétaire n’était pas au niveau concernant le wifi, comment peut on se dire « luxury » sans les prestations mentionnées dans la réservation. Conclusion : bon logement si c était 2x moins cher si l on avait été prévenu des prestations présentes ou non. Du potentiel non exploité, c est dommage

The property is totally run-down, and there appears to be no effort to fix it up. Because of the location, you end up eating most of your meals there, and the price for dinner was really high, and the price for cheap wine was outrageous! Expedia makes it seem that the price to get to and from is included in the price, but it wasn't and that was expensive too. Most of the time there was no one there to offer assistance. On the bright side, the assistant there arranged a really nice day tour for us, and we enjoyed going to the end of the pier to snorkel or watch the sunset. Our bungalow had holes in the walls, and our friends place had no hot water heater. Our group were the only people there, so there was no need to put us in deficient units, and then offer to let us pay more for a different unit, which we declined to do. No doubt it is cheaper than other places, but there is a sense that they don't care if people are satisfied or not.

Så jag fick cykla till en liten butik 2.5 kilometer bort för att handla vatten och egen lunch. Men personalen var trevlig och jag och några andra gäster åt en helt underbar 3 rätters middag där.

We had an excellent stay here during our time on Taha’a! The owner is very nice and takes time to help organize anything for your stay. They have a restaurant on site that provides breakfast (fruit, breads, coffee) and dinner (3-course meal with prepared local fish dishes) for an extra charge. The dinners were very good, you can head up the restaurant early for a cocktail and live music on Fridays. There is a dock right out front where you can snorkel - we saw tons of different fish, coral, and an 8’ manta ray! Teiho is on site and will help organize anything you need (scooters, taxis, tours, etc) and is very helpful! They let us store our luggage while we waited for the ferry to Bora Bora. The accommodations have everything needed, but could use some updates and some TLC. Even still, my husband and I agreed that we would absolutely return because of the amazing team and location!

Si vous aimez les soirées arrosées et la musique boum boum cela vous conviendra, nous n'avons pas apprécié ce point. Le restaurant est bien mais nous avons trouvé ça un peu cher et surfait. La localisation est idéale, en face du motu Tau Tau. Le prêt des kayak, masque et tuba est appréciable. Merci Damien et tout le personnel local pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse

This is a beautiful spot. They have kayaks you can borrow to go to the coral gardens about a mile from the property. The owners are lovely and inviting. It’s possible to book breakfast or dinner and they have a bar. Quiet, charming and quaint.
