"My stay was surprisingly pleasant. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from Nara Station where there is an Aeon supermarket and at walkable distance to tourist attractions. The property is a little older but the room was much bigger, cleaner and brighter than other properties with the same grade. The room I stayed at has a queen size bed and a sofa, hardwood floor (instead of carpet), and updated lighting. It was good value for money spent."

"I loved this place. Very clean. Loved my room. Staff were helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The hot spring was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Japan. It's right next to the train station. It's a perfect way to get a taste of the experience of more traditional Japanese accommodations, but in a medium sized hotel. If I ever go back to Nara I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Very convenient hotel. Check in/out is strict or extra charge but there is luggage storage. We only stayed one night but room had what we needed and enough space for 2. Like most hotels in Japan beds were firm and pillows are fairly thin, but slept well. Well stocked amenities available to choose from in lobby."

"No staff members in premises but instructions to check in a simple and clear to make the process fast and efficient. Room was very clean and tidy and with lots of space. Had an assortment of useful amenities and was very close to attraction we wanted to see (The Nara Deer). Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Nara and visit the deer."
