住宿简介

Talbot Lodge Farmhouse

  • Surrounded by secluded landscape and superior views, Talbot Lodge is the perfect destination to unwind from the city grind and enjoy the calming countryside with family and friends.

Located 20 kilometres south west of York, nestled amongst olive trees and wrapped in 15 acres of Sandalwood trees, this delightful homestead offers a one-of-a-kind experience that's brimming with rural beauty and endless entertainment.

Enjoy mesmerising views from the verandah over breakfast, before setting off to explore Western Australia's oldest inland town. Then pull up a chair and get cosy at dusk while watching the sun set with a glass of wine, charcuterie board, and the incredible sounds of nature dancing in the distance.

Featuring cathedral ceilings, two cosy fire places, two lounge areas, a Chef's kitchen, ten seater dining table, a sunroom, kids play equipment, an outdoor fire pit, plus so much more that will make every stay truly unforgettable.

From petting farm animals and discovering walking trails, to sipping wine under the starry skies alongside the fire pit each night and collecting memories with loved ones - we've no doubt that you'll thoroughly enjoy exploring everything that this incredible enclave (and York) has to offer.

House is suitable for up to 4 adults and 4 children.

An absolutely stunning spot! Perfect for those with kids, so much to keep them busy. The cozy fire place was perfect for a winters night. Bonus points for the cheeky ponies that greeted us at the gate on arrival.

Wonderful hosts and stunning home

Even better than the online images this beautiful home on a secluded peaceful property was the perfect destination for my partner and I to escape the city and really unwind. The bed was sooo comfortable and the hosts have thought of everything from toys for the kids to a large book and DVD collection. 5 Stars..

Pure Tranquility

Amazing stay here at Talbot lodge farmhouse is a short trip to the heart of beautiful York which we timed with their annual easter antique fair. The Lodge was just beautiful well stocked and so peaceful this would be my favourite vacation spot in years.Watching the sheep and alpacas walk back in the evening off the verandah was beautiful and so well stocked with games and toys for a young family. Very clean. Host Natasha was beautiful too and on hand with our city question. Loved it we will be back

Christmas at the Farmhouse

We had a stellar time at the Talbot Farmhouse and it made for a lovely location for Christmas. The entire booking process with smooth and Natalie's communication made it all the more easier and we knew what to expect. The place is better than the photos. Large open spaces, fully stocked chef's kitchen with almost every utensil you need and the decor is functional but lovely. You can't be bored here either- the animals made great entertainment for the kids, there were copious amounts of boardgames, the grassed area is large and very well looked after and at night the stars are stunning. We would be more than happy to stay her again!

Fabulous for adults and children

Wonderful property - plenty of space and cosy features, outdoor and inside fires, high spec bathroom and kitchen with plenty of utensils, nespresso pod machine, heaps of board games, an outdoor playarea with monkey bars, swing and trampoline and of course the animals! 2 toilets which was useful for a large group. Note, the living room does not have curtains so bring an eye mask if using the sofa bed. King room had plenty of space for 2 double airbeds and queen space for a cot. Ideal place for young families. Would definitely book again.
