「We were so happy with our stay at Housers Crossing. I loved having coffee each morning with the herd of deer who walk through the property regularly. Our host helped us get train tickets into Jim Thorpe, which was absolutely amazing! My kiddo enjoyed the quiet hammock in the woods for reading, and my husband loves the walking trail. 「Cabins: gorgeous, brand new, plenty of space, not roughing it at all! Hosts: lovely, helpful at check in when we got there very late. They are obviously expanding so there was some construction going on but we weren't there for the view from the cabins, we were headed to nearby lakes- Tuscarora, Locust & Hawk Mountain.」

「This cabin is full of amenities and is beautifully appointed. The indoor open floor plan is great for cooking, eating and relaxing. Both bathrooms are freshly renovated but to get to the one downstairs requires a trip down a steep staircase.
The outdoor space is amazing! Beautiful clean hot tub, new sauna, covered pavilion with grill and picnic table, fire pit with chairs! Make sure you plan some outdoor time at the cabin. (No hooks for towels near the hot tub FYI)

「Initial communication w/ host was good & in fairness left the contact info to a manager if needed. Our family was literally there for 1 night so we thought it would be ok. The photos are accurate however don’t depict the entire rental. It was cool in the sense it was an old bar converted into a multi use bnb - the vision was there, decor was really conversational. However, the craftsmanship was shoddy in most areas - for example, a beautiful stand alone tub but with broken Sheetrock and poor...
