Little Harbor Haven

Little Harbor is still a bit of a secret of the coastal communities south of Tampa. A great place to get away, and a terrific location for Snook and Redfish fishing. The property was great, just as advertised and the property manager, Carmen was top notch.

Holiday vacation

We stayed in Ruskin because we were visiting family for Christmas and also wanted to do some sightseeing. I was a little nervous at first because it was two days before our trip, and I hadn't heard anything from the owner about check in. I emailed and got a response by the next day that I would receive check in information the day we were supposed to arrive. That was fine once it was communicated with me. The community the condo is in isvery nice with lots of amenities. We went to the Sunset Bar and Grill (great food) and used the heated pool. Unfortunately the hot tub was cold the day we went, but the pool felt nice. The condo itself has two spacious bedrooms and the balconies were great! Bathrooms were nice too. The couch is different from the one in the pictures, but it was no big deal. The only issue we had is that in the check in email it said there was a binder with instructions, but there was none. We didn't know how the garbage worked and the clicker didn't work for the garage port. It was Christmas Eve when I emailed the owner about it, so it's understandable that we didn't get a response for a couple of days. We found out from a lady at the pool that you throw the trash out at the dumpster by the beach! So problem solved! Overall, it was a nice stay.

Hidden jewel

Such a nice place to stay and visit. Everything we needed was in this community. Two great restaurants, beach and pool access. Even had security at the gate. The property was very clean and offered amazing water views from both the front and back of the home. Would definitely stay here again and explore the surrounding area.

Great place

Great family place to stay plenty to do and was a great unit. I would be cautious on your rental car selection the parking spot is very tight. We had a large SUV and had to fold mirrors in to fit. They do have another parking area but it was on the other side of the complex.

The view was beautiful but all of the furniture was very uncomfortable. The sofa was the worst. The Belinda on the door were broken . The shower was leeking .

Keep Looking- not worth it at all.

This photo is not even the furniture in this place. This is false advertisement. This is our 6th year at Little Harbor and we've stayed in multiple units and always been happy with them. We know what a rental unit is supposed to provide and this place is does not provide. This is the worst one we have ever had. As my husband said, this place is one step above a dorm room. All of the contents of this place was either purchased at Goodwill or picked up at a yard sale. I wish I could submit the photos I took. This isn't the furniture at all. It's a blue broken down sofa and a blue chair and both are dirty and in poor condition. The oven door was broken and they brought a new stove. The toaster was broken, they brought a new one. The master bedroom had no mattress cover on it so we had to ask for one, it only had a paper thin sheet on it. . The linens looked like cars had been washed with them. The rattan patio furniture was unraveling--- again, picked up along the roadside for the garbage man. Our bed slats were broken with the mattress sagging-- they came and fixed it. The carpet had food and gravel embedded, we asked for a vacuum cleaner. The walls had not been painted in years and beat up. Thankfully we were only here for two weeks before we moved to a different unit. Apparently, the owner doesn't care about this unit. Don't waste your money.... keep scrolling.

Very nice property, awesome location. No need to leave the facility two great places to eat and have a cool refreshing adult beverage. The beach was great all staff was very friendly. We will be going back.

Little Harbor Townhouse in Ruskin

Location was fantastic! Could watch the sunrise and the sunset! We were on a canal and could watch dolphins and Pelicans! Nice breeze all day long. The downfall was the amenities. Toasters (yes, there was two) didn't work. Not enough towels, dish towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels. The fry pan was round on the bottom and everything ended up in the center, difficult to make eggs! Could have been cleaner.

Great family spring break!
