Cozy AF Tiny-House Oasis

We welcome you to stay at this Rustic Tiny-House which used to be an old storage container that traveled the world. This now cottage has so much unique and fun details awaiting to be discovered.

You will have access to the whole backyard, which includes a hot tub, koi pond, fire pit, hammocks, greenhouse and canoes/kayaks. There's also a bunny garden!

Our goal isn't to simply give you a place to stay but rather an experience you will cherish forever.
The space

Whenever I was overseas in the Marine Corps, we used to live in these storage containers long before the mainstream adopted the idea. I remember telling myself that whenever I had the time and money, I was going to build a beautiful tiny house out of the steel boxes that provided us so much warmth and shelter.

My heart and soul went into building this thing, so it's my hope that you will enjoy all the little details, which I made with my 3D printer or built from scratch.

The Cozy AF Tiny-House is located in VM Ybor(Vincent Martinez). A few short minutes from the famous Ybor Strip that encompasses restaurants, bars, ghost tours, scooter riding video gaming at GameTime and performances by the top-notch comics at Tampa Improv. The Ybor City Museum Society offers an overview of the area's history via two institutions that should be part of every Ybor sightseeing tour. Ybor City Museum State Park looks at the district's cultural heritage and how it earned its reputation as the “Cigar Capital of the World.” There's also wild chickens walking the streets.🐓

Guest access
Guests have access to pretty much anything you see in the backyard. Hot tub, kayaks, pond, and a greenhouse. All we ask is that you be respectful and leave things the same as you found it.

All pets are welcome! We do require a $25 pet fee.

We booked this tiny home as an overnight stay after a concert at the Benchmark International Arena. This great little private oasis is just a short drive away from the arena, making it extremely convenient. We ended up wishing we had planned a longer stay! It was a clean and finely crafted little magical space, complete with both furry and leafy friends that we would definitely book again if we have other events in the area. It honestly added to our overall experience, as it went beyond just "a place to stay". We highly recommend it!

Birthday weekend for parents

Rented for a Birthday get away for my parents for a night. They absolutely loved the place. Said it is very unique, comfortable, and highly satisfied with accomodations. Charming Oasis

Everything about the Cozy AF Tiny Home was perfect, from the very start seeing the welcome sign with our names, to the end of our stay. You can tell how much love and care was put into the beautiful oasis! We were so very happy with our stay. We loved the 3d printed figures that was just waiting for you to find. Many great movie references and cute touches. The property was pristine. We loved having a driveway space to park. The bed and space itself were very homey and comfortable. The coffee was great as well. The bunnies and chickens were my favorite. Thank you again Laura for leaving me carrots to feed them. We found ourselves cutting our plans a little early for the day just to get back and enjoy the space. Not a detail was left untouched. We will be back!

Peaceful paradise

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first big trip together and our first time using Vrbo. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It put the biggest smile on my face walking through the gate every time we came back from an adventure. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. I was discovering something new and hidden in the garden every time I walked through. It’s filled with the cutest sculptures, planters, and little critters. 🐰🐥🦎 The location is central to almost anything you’ll want to explore, and it’s only 1/2 a mile away from La Segunda, a delicious Cuban bakery. Delightful Oasis in the Heart of Ybor

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at the TinyAF House. It was cosy but well appointed, appealing both inside and out. The neighborhood is an easy walk to Ybor City's main drag, and very easily accessible to the major roads of Tampa. We wound up coming back to the house more often than we had planned to enjoy the relaxing outdoor spaces and adorable critters. The garden is a scavenger hunt of cute nods to pop/nerd culture and we delighted in exploring it. The hot tub, driveway parking, and comfy bed were all just check plus on top of the charm. Gabriel was a wonderful host and has created a really special space. We definitely plan on staying here again the next time we are in town.
