“The place seems nice on the surface but it is well overpriced for what it offers. The room did not have some basic items (e.g., a microwave oven, which would have been useful given the lack of places to eat and the likelihood that one would need to reheat some previously purchased food). The restaurant in the hotel is beyond bad (burned and oversalted brussels sprouts, dry and also oversalted sandwiches, etc.). We left the tray with the practically untouched food outside and it stayed there for……
“Nicolas and Anna were great hosts. Nicolas is a trained chef so the breakfasts were fantastic. Hot tub is great. Nice location to look out at mountains. Very quiet. Strong recommendation!!”
“The Old Taos Guesthouse is such a gem. The property is a little outside Taos in a very peaceful setting. The property and the rooms are beautiful and exude character. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. They serve an amazing breakfast, with everything homemade. It was the best quiche I’ve ever had. We enjoyed lounging on the property in the evening and listening to the birds. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Taos.”
“My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it.”
