While an older motel, everything was clean and well maintained. We had a two-bedroom which was great given our son loved not having to bunk in with his parents.

Rooms in Taupo would have been priced at a maximum rate on the weekend when the Supercars were on. I am not aware of any lights ot working, bathroom or elswhereMargaret

The motel is really convenient for Taupo. It is clean and the staff are great. I stayed for 2 nights and it was really convenient and comfortable

Taupo has a healthy ant occupation. They love to finding dirty dishes or food on a bench. We have taken steps to control the ant population and hope they will no longer be a problemMargaret

We have stayed there several times. We always feel welcome and our room is always up to scratch. We enjoy being walking distance to town for lunch and dinner and a supermarket, Cosy club and Church.

A motelier that listened.
Chevron Motel was conveniently located in Taupo for where we needed to go. The motel took on board our requests and we were more than happy with our stay.

Main area was lovely and spacious. Kitchen and bathroom were a little pokey but i think that was unique to our unit. Nice and clean and priced as a last minute booking was value for money.

We stayed two nights and were really satisfied with our room. Value for money it was really good. Good location and family friendly. The only thing that could be improved would be the windows were a little drafty. The heat pump kept us warm tho. Thanks we will be back one day 😊

Great location, easy flat 5min walking into town or to lake front. Comfortable bed with electric blanket, yay, as I visited mid winter. Easy check in and out, happily will stay here again.

Comfortable room/ unit, nice and clean with everything you need for your stay. It was after reception hours when we arrived and got to the room but the heat pump and a light were left on for us which we really appreciated as it was a very cold night.

I liked the fact it was close to the CBD so easy to walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The unit number 16 was spacious, bright and clean, with excellent lighting and plenty of power points. I would request that particular unit again if I was planning to go to Taupo.
