A modern apartment located in a top Tauranga suburb, Stylish Matua Apartment features a tranquil patio/garden setting, which makes the drive off the beaten track and up Levers Road worthwhile. This tastefully-decorated and air-conditioned accommodation is only 9 km from the airport, and 14 km from the Mercury Baypark Stadium and Baypark Arena. Bayfair Shopping Mall is just 12 km away. There is on-site private parking available and complimentary Wi-fi. This is a smoke-free property.
This modern, spacious apartment with a patio and garden views features 2 bedrooms, a living room with a flat-screen TV, a well equipped kitchenette with a bar fridge, mini-oven, benchtop hotplates and a microwave. Also a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and luxurious bathtub. Towels and bed linen are all provided. For added privacy, there is a secure entrance and soundproofing. Tea, coffee and toast-making and cooking facilities available.
Wifi with broadband is available, and a good range of channels on freeview TV as you relax in the comfortable studio room, well-appointed with a couch, coffee table and dining suite.
Two large ranch sliders provide indoor-outdoor flow on warm summer evenings out to the tranquil surroundings.
Off-street PARKING FOR ONE CAR ONLY is available at the top of the driveway by the fence. Other vehicles will need to park on our safe, well-lit street. Please DO NOT BLOCK ACCESS to the garage.
Special conditions:
Strictly NO SMOKING, NO OVERNIGHT VISITORS OR CHILDREN UNDER 12, NO PETS, NO PARTIES, NO DRUGS OR EXCESS ALCOHOL, and consideration of others by QUIETNESS AFTER 10 P.M is appreciated.

LOCATION AND LOCAL ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES:
Located at the tip of the Matua Peninsula, this is a great place to get away into the fresh coastal air and relax to the sound of the local birdlife - tuis, swans, herons, ducks and Canadian Geese from the nearby Matua Salt-marsh Estuary and Wildlife Reserve which is crisscrossed with boardwalks, cycleways and walking tracks (within an easy 10 minute walking distance). A short 2 minute walk to the bus stop; a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach at Fergusson Park, with walking and cycling tracks, swimming, water sports, etc, close to shopping areas and supermarkets - Woolworths 4.1 km, New World (our favourite) 5.6 km, and Cherrywood Village with eateries and a great Four Square 3 km.
All water sports including kayaking, swimming, kite surfing, and cycling and picnicking await you a couple of minutes drive down at Fergusson Park. Five minutes further down the road is a 9-hole golf course close to an inner-harbour walkway with boardwalks and bush walks.
Another 10 minutes will take you to the beautiful surf beaches and cafes of fabulous Mount Maunganui, where you have a choice of gentle, safe swimming on the port-side at Pilot Bay, or enjoying the well-patrolled, famous surf beach.
