The condition of Building No. 3, where we were accommodated, is deplorable—dirty, old, and very unsightly. I felt unsafe because there are bars in the surrounding area. In the room we were assigned, the beds were made, but the sheets and pillows were dirty; there was hair everywhere, and it smelled of sweat. It was disgusting. There is no restaurant service, and the places to get breakfast are two miles away. It was a very bad experience at this hotel; I do not recommend it at all.

Our check-in experience was exceptional. Cynthia was super helpful in every way. The room was delightful - clean and comfortable. Hotel is within easy walking distance to dining, coffee, nightlife and ice cream. Spectacular lakefront to walk and enjoy. Can’t wait to return!

My single room was very large with two queen beds. The balcony overlooked the lake, which was absolutely gorgeous. I got to my building and use the elevator key to go to my room and it was not working. The staff from the office came right over and exchanged the key with me to let me get up to my room. Would recommend this 10+

This so called boutique hotel has 3 buildings spread within a block from each other - which is not a big deal. However, the room was no where close to a stylish boutique hotel. I was in building 2 & had to park across the street since the few parking spaces (2 handicap & 3-4 regular parking) behind the building are all taken. You have to go thru a screen door behind the building & use your security card to operate the elevator. Room 216 smelled horrible. It had a strong smell of smoke. The room was old & dirty. Floor was sticky. The bed was ok but not great either. The bed linens did not smell freshly laundered. Microwave & refrigerator looked nasty. Bathroom was out dated, although it was clean. No USB outlets. Only a few electrical outlets. The furniture were unbelievably old & beat up. The walls are not soundproofed. You can hear kids running from the upper floor. There’s a bar that plays live music that you can hear loudly. It was very hard to sleep with the noise. At one point in the middle of the night, it felt like someone was trying to forcibly open the door of my room or the room next to me & the door stopper prevented the door from opening. I felt extremely unsafe & uncomfortable. I cancelled my 2nd night at this hotel. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. Which sucks because the area seemed really nice with restaurants & the view of the lake was beautiful.

When we checked in we discovered that not only did the hotel not provide breakfast as was indicated in our reservation but we were given a room with only one bed when we reserved a room with two beds. The front desk staff apologized however since they were fully booked they could only provide a different room for one night and not the second night but we were assured that the rooms would be refunded. We were told to contact the general manager on Monday to get the refund however after calling 4 times we were never able to speak to her.

The room lacked a coffee maker or any dishes to heat a cup of water for tea. The towels were wet out of the dryer, had to go get dry towels. The bed was like sleeping on an old box spring. One of the worse nights sleep we've had. Would not recommend it, if you plan on sleeping.
