「We came to Virginia from Michigan for our friend to visit with family she hadn’t seen in 12 years they live on Vetrans hwy. this was about as close as we could get a rental. It was wonderful. Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. 「If we hadn't arrived by car, we would have thought it was 1775. Well, there is electricity and running water and a washer and dryer. OK. Maybe 1775 is a stretch, but you get the idea. The Edmonson Lodge is a gem. We stayed 2 nights for a father/daughter trip to the Virginia Creeper Trail, which is only 20 minutes away. There are plenty of beds and enough room. 「There was some confusion over reservation but host took care if it. Problem with water but host was getting it taken care of. Location was nice. Very steep dirt grassy driveway. Rain and snow could make it difficult if not impossible to to get up. No check in or check out instructions. No large garbage can outside. With all yhis said the host did all he could do to make sure we had what we needed.」
