"Small, yet perfectly formed - the cottage is well set-up and has a lovely homely feel. Very clean with all the essentials provided - even enough provisions for a nice breakfast. Only stayed 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at St Osyth's Priory - which is walking distance. Would loved to have stayed longer. Hottest day of the year but hosts had provided large fans which were much appreciated. The beautiful and private garden was a welcome surprise."

"Very pleasant hotel and lovely owners and staff. An old building with character features but clean and tidy. The room was large with a huge double bed, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The bathroom was modern clean and tidy with lots or towels, but beware the seagulls are noisy if you have your window open. The breakfast was good with a large selection of fruit, cereals or cooked. There is parking outside and it is only a short walk to the Clacton Pier and Beach and Preso's Restaurant."

"Cute cottage in such a peaceful location and only minutes walk from the sea. We had a relaxing time and Reg our dog loved all the new places to explore. Hosts kept in regular contact throughout our stay which was reassuring."

"I’ve just returned from this lovely place . Lovely staff and so friendly. Thanks Debbie Room was clean and spotless me and my nephew ate at the restaurant and must say what lovely food Plenty to choose from Danielle was serving and what a lovely person she is to. Also, there’s a beer garden which had the lovely weather for it to sit in. Definitely recommend this place if your local to Thorpe le soken And definitely would return if need be. Thankyou Malcolm b"
