One of the toughest things I have ever done: the Annapurna Circuit, a 14 day trek in Nepal, and reaching the Thorong La Pass at 5416m on the 10th day. It was very challenging - particularly as I was ill when doing it. Reaching Thorung La pass, a whopping 5416m above sea level, after days and days of trekking is nothing short of incredible. The euphoria dispels any looming altitude sickness, and a cup of tea up top doesn't hurt either!
The views looking back on the way to Thorung La, the highest peak on the Annapurna Circuit, are astounding!
