"The cabin was beautiful, lots of natural light. There was a snow storm the day we arrived and they had come and plowed the large drive the next night so we didnt need to shovel much. Everything was very clean and the host was very helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay again!"

"We had an amazing time staying at the Tacklebox! The main cabin and bunkhouse were very cozy to sleep in, and we had an incredible view of Lake Champlain. We’ll definitely have to come back in the summer when the lake has thawed. The sauna and hot tub were also very relaxing, would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun place to vacation in Vermont!"

"Overall, I think this hotel was a good value for the price, and I would stay here again if I'm back in the area. The staff did an excellent job keeping the property clean, neat, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, which made for a pleasant stay. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The "breakfast" was very disappointing—I don't think it should even be advertised as breakfast based on what was offered. The room also didn't have enough electrical outlets, and there were no USB charging ports. Even with just two people, keeping our devices charged was inconvenient. Another drawback was the lack of soundproofing. The walls and ceilings seemed quite thin, and we could clearly hear people walking and moving around above us. Despite those issues, considering the lower price compared to other hotels in the area, I still felt it was a good value. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly place to stay and don't mind a few shortcomings, it's worth considering."
