"The host had given us the wrong apartment number so we ended up trying to get into the wrong apartment initially! The tedee app wasn't working for the apartment, so we had to call the host and arrange for a spare key to get in. This all took a long time, in the heatwave with elderly parents and children. "It was smaller than I expected, but that was due to an error in the listing. It said 3 bedrooms, while they meant 3 beds. When I pointed that out to the owner, he immediately changed it. He was very friendly. The kitchen and leisure room are clean and as described, it's a pity that the fridge can't be used though, since the kitchen is shared. "Great place to stay for Efteling. Right next to the park, with its own entrance. Rooms are top-dollar but they're big, clean and comfy. Restaurants are fine, with a nice breakfast menu and good dinner selection. Some of the menu is nouvelle-style - fish portions are tiny, for example, so look around and clock what looks good on other plates. I recommend the bar snacks platter, enjoyed it for dinner. The staff are amazing - so friendly, and Famke was just so helpful when we had ticket issues, incredibly professional. Only snag - no snacks and drinks at reception, all has to be bought from the bar, where it comes opened-up."
