6/10 Okay

"OK Place. Lots of Shady People Lurking Around. Good Beds and Pillows. Rooms are very vintage and dated and somebody doesn't know how to Paint or Caulk. Thank God there was no carpeting. Really irks me that maintenance people don't know how to do a quality paint and caulk job. Really show me that this hotel doesn't care. Other then the poor maintenance I did sleep Safe and Sound. Oh there was a Giant Water bubble on the Ceiling that looked like is was about to explode."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hartford - Bradley Airport

"Convenient location if you need to be by the airport. Easy highway access and multiple restaurants in the vicinity. Room was clean, quiet and had a comfortable bed. Upkeep was the only opportunity. Elevator made loud noises as the door closed and towels looked and felt old and worn."

2/10 Terrible

"Outside was very run down. Walking in the lobby looked nice. They did not have the room set up that I reserved so that was a bad start. When we did get into a “comparable” room it had some issues with the baseboard moldings peeling away and upon inspection the mattresses were not pleasant looking at all. We were on the ground floor and within 10 minutes a couple of items hit our window and someone actually ended up knocking on our window which was a shock. It turned out to be a hotel guest who went out a wrong door and couldn’t get back in. We only stayed for less than an hour and decided to ask for a refund which we were granted. Avoid this hotel."

"After I paid for a none refundable reservation for a room. My wife checked out reviews, she does this when we travel. When she showed me the negative reviews she found, I became concerned since I could not get my money back. Well as it turns out my worries we not necessary. We travel often and have experienced both good and bad hotel experiences, The Capitol Hotel is a very respectable recommendable business. Everything met our usual expectations. It will be where we stay whenever we go to Hartford. From room cleanliness, to great shower water pressure, to great friendly customer service, and very good breakfast included in the room cost. Five stars all the way."
