Perfect location and Huge house

We had more than enough room and the location was perfect. Close to wasau and far enough to feel like a vacation in the woods . The whole family loved it and had a blast.

Great place on a small lake

Beautiful home with great views. Nice lakefront access with good fishing from the pier and a sandy beach. Close to Tomahawk for shopping and food. Each family had their own room and separate bath. It was a fun relaxing stay.

Perfect for some fun in the sun!

This is our second stay at this house. It does not disappoint. Loved new bedroom downstairs. It’s clean spacious and lots of amenities. Will definitely be back!

Pleasant Northwoods Escape

My extended family and I had a pleasant time at this sizable Northwoods retreat. The property is set up for two families of four or three to four couples. The home is well equipped with appliances, TVs, and utensils. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoes that the owners provided. One thing worthy of mentioning is that this property is intended For large parties with dogs on vacation. The carpet is clean but spotted. The garage is also cluttered with summer vacation gear. This may be a plus for families with small kids, but could be considered messy by people looking for something more refined.

Quiet small lake. House was nice except for dirty nasty carpet in LR

Walked into house and immediately saw dirty nasty carpet with many spots in living room with sofas also worn. Not happy whatsoever. Otherwise, the rest of the house was very nice and updated. House has 4 levels.Nice to have bedrooms on 3 levels. Nice for privacy. Great fishing lake, kids reeled in fish constantly. Small quiet lake. Water was brown in color. Gas grill was never cleaned. Outdoor paddle boat and kayak were dirty. Spent a lot of time cleaning grill and outdoor sport equipment. Hate to give such a bad review but this is what we experienced.

Cute and cozy

Overall, we really enjoyed our getaway on the lake for a week. The house is super cute and can definitely tell updates and maintenance is done inside the house. Likes: the house was clean and accommodated our family of 4 nicely. There is one single kayak and one tandem canoe with plenty of floats to use in the shed by the lake. We used the fire pit almost every night; bundles of wood are available to buy at the local BP gas station. We enjoyed how calm and private the lake is, perfect for using the stand up paddle boards ( we brought). Small solar lights on the path helped guide us from the house to the lake and back at night. There are trees down by the lake that are perfect for securing hammocks (we brought) to relax and enjoy the sun and breeze. Appliances were nice. Complimentary dishwasher tabs and laundry soap provided. Fishing was great! Staff at local bait shops are friendly and helpful. The grocery store isn’t too far away if you forgot to pack some items. Good pub grub at the bar and grill on the other side of the lake.

Was great for fall UTV ride

The property worked great for our group. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for all couples. One of the showers did not work but that was a minor issue. Would highly suggest cleaning the gutters before winter. Would have been nice to have the pine needles cleaned off the deck but overall very happy with stay and location. We would rent again.

Wonderful week away

My husband, my self and 2 our our grown kids and 4 grandkids had a wonderful time at this location. Very relaxing and the waterfront was ideals for little ones.

Nice get away-

The house was nice and clean for us when we arrived. Wish we could have stayed longer but it was just a quick trip for the snowmobile races on Saturday. The fire place was cozy on the chilly nights .

Road Lake Escape

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. We had 4 adults, with a simple plan to relax, and that is exactly what we were able to do. Would love to return in the summer months, with our grandchildren, and utilize the lake more. This was my first time in Northern Wisconsin, and my first time using Vacasa. Very pleased with both!

Great Lake getaway

House was nice, clean, and spacious. They supplied all the “little things” that sometimes cause nuisance trips to Target or a gas station (ie paper towels, silverware, toiletries, grilling utensils. Very quiet, never heard another neighbor the whole time. Couple of boats will cruise by once in a while, but very private. Lake was nice, clean, lots of fish, and the peddle boat and kayaks were great to have waiting for use. Would definitely book again!

Perfect getaway

We came for a long weekend with our 6 young children. Very clean house, lots of room for play (and hide and seek), beach was great for kids 3+, wonderful quiet pebble shore, we caught over 20 fish just off the dock! Our only complaint was that there were no high chairs or cribs, but we made do and will definitely be returning to this great vrbo.

Awesome stay!

Great little getaway nestled in the trees overlooking the beautiful lake. It has all the amenities from space to outdoor fun! I didn’t get to spend much time chilling at the house, I came up for a business trip. I did meet good people at the Rode Lake pub house with moose. Which is right across the lake. Stopped by Mary’s to get a ginger beer, make sure you play the dice game. Pine tree has great steaks.

2022 Tomahawk vacation

Should have brought my snowmobile’s, there’s access to all the trails and Road Lake right from the house. There’s plenty of room and bathrooms. Everything was great. I did have to buy 2 bags of pellets at the Trigs cause we ran out the first night cause the basement tends to get a little colder. No big issue. I also changed the water filter in the house and shoveled half the driveway but that’s cause I have OCD. Everyone liked the place, there was tons of places to eat. We use VRBO and Vacasa many times throughout the year and their always on top of things. This was the 3rd vacation home in 3 weeks and will definitely be back.
