Stayed here for the week, working out of town. Rooms are a good size. It’s a good place to stay for a good price. Very little to complain about.

For how old and run down this hotel was, the staff had done well to keep it clean. I had contact with Cody, who was very attentive and concerned about making things right. He was fixing the problem from my first room before I had repacked and left. The LOVE company could definitely invest a little money in a new sign and some renovations!

Not what you think at all.

Place is too pricy for what it offers. Breakfast was choice of granola bars, wrapped cinnamon roll, bagel, and coffee. Not good options. Especially if your diabetic or have heart disease. Carpet and chairs are terribly stained, makes you question the whole place. Says wifi available, doesn't have cable available. You have to sign in with your own account to watch anything on the roku box. Price went up $30 while i was booking, because they were getting alot of booking at that time with the activity around the area. Paid around $160 for a motel that would normally run about $50 for the night. Place is very old, paneling on walls, sink guessing from around the 70s. Normally I don't post much for a reviews, but wanted you to know things are very disappointing for the price.

Tomahawk ride!

It was to put my body to rest during the tomahawk weekend. It was good enough for the four of us . The bathroom need some work on the countertop and the fan for the bathroom didn’t work. But the water was hot . The office was very friendly and if we needed anything he was willing to give us what we needed. The carpets needed to be replaced a lot of stains on the floor from who knows what? The beds were on the way out soon they will need replacing . Needed more outlets for our phones to charge over the night had to place them across the room to charge. The door could use a better lock for security purposes. They offered coffee biscuits and gravy and sweet rolls and granola bars.

Plug ins didn’t work. Power strip hanging at an angle on the wall didn’t seem to be up to code. No safety locks on door to outside. In adequate lighting in main room. Bathroom sink faucets not connected to sink. No coffee available for breakfast. Very clean facility. The cleanest I’ve seen!

Save your money this property is disgusting. Opened the door to our room, and I think there were more bugs inside than outside. Additionally, the room had a funky odor. It had the appearance of a place that hookups & crackheads would hang out. It was so bad we did not stay. At 10 PM at night we sought out other sleeping accommodations. Thank goodness we were able to accommodate.

False advertising!

False advertising! The pictures they showed on the website is not what you get. Room was dark, depressing, and poorly maintained. Beds were relatively comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Garbage on the floor that should have been seen by housekeeper. This was supposed to be “remodeled”. ?!?!?

We’d stay again. Despite lack of curb appeal- including indoor furniture set up outside rooms and sand/dirt all over ground and paved areas- beds and rooms are new looking and white sheets/linens clean and cozy. I love the 1950s bathrooms with yellow tile and fixtures. Place is quiet at night, no smell of smoke. Tomahawk, WI manager Cody is working very hard to fix this place up from the inside out. Handled our requests with respect and promptness. Love is the new owner’s last name I was told as my mind wondered about the type of motel I had just chosen to stay at with my mother.

Nothing fancy

One level, bare bones hotel, nothing fancy, outdated. Check in at office with friendly and helpful staff. Hotel going under change of ownership. Minimum free breakfast. Only door know lock on room door. Heat worked great l. Old fridge and micro but both worked . Mattress comfortable. Bathroom with walk-in shower and instant hot water. Priced right. Ok stay if you’re a ‘guy’, on the road . Had some car trouble and staff was available to help.

We booked the hotel with Hotels.com. We called OYO hotel several times, and left messages. Calls were not returned. When we arrived in town we drove by the hotel only to see a sign that said OYO coming soon, and the hotel was closed. We contacted Hotels.com, and they also tried to contact the owners, but were unsuccessful also. They then set us up with the Super 8 just down the street which had recent bad reviews, but to our delight the Super 8 was under new management, and was very clean with a friendly staff. Can’t recommend the OYO hotel just yet, but might be a nice hotel when OYO takes over. Thanks to Hotels. com we had an enjoyable stay though.

Exactly what I needed for my snowmobile trip! A warm bed and hot shower basically across the street from the trail. Andy takes care of the place and was very pleasant to deal with start to finish! I will be booking future trips here.

My mom fell in the shower due to them not having any non-slip things on the shower floor. She fractured 4 ribs and her doctor is looking to see if she also fractured her elbow and possible damage to her shoulder. The owner said he was sorry but kept reminding me that I had gotten a good rate. Good rates mean nothing when you have hospital bills, prescriptions and follow up doctor appointments for someone on a fixed income, almost 70 years old and that could have been prevented. He was very un sympathetic. Will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE
