"Really liked the location and enjoyed our stay. Be aware that the lake is a bit shallow by the dock. Enough to get a fishing boat in, but couldn't have gotten our bowrider in there. Nothing to do with the listing, just an FYI for anyone else thinking of bringing a boat."

"Lovely home! Very clean, nicely decorated, and well supplied. Close to downtown ( 20 minutes)for shopping and restaurants. If you like walking we found Bearskin Trail by the Post Office! Nice views. Would return to the residence with no hesitation."

"Away from town on a nice little lake. Very comfortable accommodations with access to kayaks, paddle boat and accessories. Decor was very cozy (plus recent updates throughout the cabin) complete with deck & porch to enjoy nature. Nice little point down a short path to sit on a swing and watch the eagles fly over the lake. Would stay again."

"10/10, one of the more memorable locations in all my stays near Minocqua, worth every penny. The location, the house, the dock, everything was out of this world. Easy and fast communication with the owner, immaculate condition, barely had to go into town for anything! Just like it should be. I would recommend this property to anyone, for anytime of year, for any reason."

"We had a wonderful time on the lake! Weather was amazing. The house was great for 13 people. Of course with all the trees, mosquitoes made it a challenge to sit outside during the evening. However we enjoyed the deck with the picture perfect view during the day. Wi-fi was very unstable so it was difficult to use the smart tv's at the end of the day and didn't allow everyone to sign on. I definitely recommend the place for adults and families with teens on up!"

"We loved staying here. My family is from the area. My grandma worked at this place in the 1920’s with the Jeffris’ family. Then she worked here in the 60s for another family. I spent summers at the beach so it was such a blessing to be back here. The place was clean and cozy and had everything I needed for cooking many meals."

"What a gem of a property! Our stay was simply lovely. We were inundated with snow which made for a very picturesque view out the common space windows. They have thought of everything from plenty of blanket type throws around the home to a full cabinet of spices. We will have to come back to experience the enticing outdoors - but made the most of relaxing in this cozy cabin."

"Property is very well maintained, and clean. Keep in mind this is a lakeside cabin, not a primary residence so it does not have some of the creature comforts some will want. However, if you are wanting a quite getaway and enjoy lakeside living it is perfect. "

"This home was perfect for a group. The full bathroom on each floor (three) was great for convenience in getting ready and privacy. The home had lots of dishes, silverware, comfortable beds, beautiful access to a fire pit right down by a gorgeous lake. The bonus was a wood burning fireplace in the home that even had wood in it which was a major treat and enjoyed by all. They even supplied a basket with all the s’more fixings! "This is our 4th year in a row!! Our family came to snowmobile and we had tons of fun even though there wasn't enough snow. We love the comfortable beds, easy check-in, great access to the lake. We are thankful for Dale's kindness to a special request we had and the property manager (new from last year) did an outstanding job! "The listing is exceptional. This was by far the best rental we have had in Wisconsin. Our original goal was to find something a little quieter. We’ve visited this area for over 20 years. Nevertheless, we were amazed at what the property offered. We found the location far enough from local traffic to be secluded, but literally minutes from trails, recreation areas, attractions, or resources any family or serious sportsperson could think of. "The house was lovely and the decor was really beautifully curated. We really enjoyed the recreational room downstairs and the sauna. It was cold the weekend we were up, but we still got to enjoy the nice outside fire pit surrounded by string lights. Would highly recommend this home for your next stay in Minocqua!"
