Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Inconvenience
We were very disappointed with our stay. Less than 12 hours before our arrival, we were informed that our reservation had been moved to a different building located approximately 2.5 km from the original location. This last-minute change completely disrupted our plans, as we had specifically chosen the original location for its proximity to our scheduled activities (three baseball games, the CN Tower, the aquarium, and the railway museum).
Despite the inconvenience, no compensation was offered. The host claimed that the new unit was larger, but we didn’t need the extra space—we needed the location we had booked.
The original location had a pool, which was an important feature for us, but the new location did not. There were also no chairs on the balcony, and the indoor chairs were not suitable for relaxing outside.
More concerning, the door latch was broken: it could only be locked from the outside, and we were unable to unlock it from the inside—an obvious safety issue. On top of that, the TV remote didn’t work, making it difficult to use the television.
All in all, this experience fell far short of expectations, and we would not recommend this host.
