To the east, a short drive away discover Portwrinkle, Kingsand and Cawsand, forming part of the sublime Rame Head Heritage Coast, are postcard-perfect and well worth a visit. Beyond lies the naval city of Plymouth, steeped in history and with marinas, and abundance of shopping options and many marvellous attractions.
