Simply stunning

We were fortunate to have 6 nights in Villa Alegre. The villa itself is spacious and well appointed. We had three bedrooms but there are also further bedrooms on the lower level which can be booked in addition if needed. The villa itself is comfortable and clean and traditional in its style. What makes this place special though is the massive terrace with incredible views out over Torrox and Nerja to the sea. And to the mountains behind and all around. A great spot for spectacular sunrises and sun sets. We were fortunate that there was a full moon during our stay and that was equally awesome. Pool area is stunning with both the swimming pool ( heated to a very comfortable temperature) and a separate smaller pool with great views. The villa is quite isolated which makes it very tranquil. The property manager, Frank, couldn’t have been more helpful . He met us at the bottom of the track that leads to the villa and guided us safely to the villa when we checked in. The drive up this track is a little hairy the first time but you quickly get used to it. It really is part of the charm of this very special place. We did several day trips during our stay; to Granada; to Ronda ( via Antequera) and to Nerja and Frigiliana. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the villa to the main coast road and then some beautiful drives from there. When we checked in the owners had left us a very substantial welcome pack, which was very much appreciated. We were very sorry to leave at the end

Beautiful villa, stunning location and views.

Stunning location with both sea and mountain views, the sunsets over the mountains were beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing with lots of space and different shaded areas so everyone could find space for themselves if required. Set up for 12-13 people so well equipped all round and 2 dishwashers! Villa is a bit off the main road and the road up is a bit steep and bumpy but no problem for a standard car. We tended to BBQ in the evenings as everywhere is a drive away and the kitchen is excellent for self catering. Kids enjoyed the tv when they had had enough sun. Pool is lovely and cool and deep so doesn’t get to warm by the end of a hot day. Perfect villa really and we had a great holiday. Thanks to Geoff who sorted the pool out.

Ruime villa, fantastisch uitzicht. Heerlijk genoten.

Mooi en schoon huis. Alles wat je kan bedenken is aanwezig. Heerlijk verbleven met 2 gezinnen. Uitzicht is werkelijk fantastisch. Overdag goed aan te rijden maar in de avond is het wel even zoeken. Maar het uitzicht maakte dat de volgende dag weer goed. Kortom een aanrader om heerlijk rustig te verblijven.

Heerlijk, schitterend uitzicht!

erg mooie woning voor grote groep mensen, genoeg ruimte rondom het huis. een heel groot terras met schitterend uitzicht. wel even een toer om de berg op te komen, want het huis ligt vrij hoog, maar dan heb je ook dat mooie uitzicht en die rust. voor de boodschappen ben je wel een kwartiertje onderweg naar de dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt

Toller Urlaub in super Haus

Das Haus hatte alles wie beschrieben und ist mehr als großzügig ausgestattet für große Gruppen, waren insgesamt 13 Personen. Cindy ist immer sehr bemüht und reagiert binnen Stunden. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen, wir würde jedenfalls wieder kommen.

sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus liegt traumhaft schön auf einem Berg mit Blick auf die Bucht von Torrox. Es ist sehr sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders geeignet für Familien mit (Klein-)Kindern. Der Pool verfügt über eine Kindersicherung. Die Räume sind großzügig. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub! Oasis of Calm

We had an amazing holiday at Villa Alegre, the communication with Cindy & Stefan from first enquiry, thru to booking was excellent. The property itself was very clean, well-appointed with everything that you could possible need and is located in the most secluded, peaceful and relaxing spot with fabulous views down the mountain and out to sea. No passing traffic the only sound we could hear came from the cicadas, birds, and on one occasion a herd of goats. Lots of sun lounges around the inviting pool, nice and warm for night swimming, and on the large terrace, more lounges and various tables and chairs giving options for eating/relaxing in the sun or shade. Torrox village is only a short 15 minute drive away, and Torrox beach about 20-25minutes drive, it has stretches of golden sand is home to some good restaurants. Our favourite resort was Nerja, with its beaches, many bars and restaurants is just a 30-35 minute drive away. Overall our 14 night stay just wasn't long enough! The days flew by with each relaxing day being better than the previous one. I honestly don't have a bad word to say about our experience only that I wished it could have lasted much longer!

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Heel mooi ruim huis, heel compleet ingericht en veel speelgoed voor de kleintjes. Het uitzicht, de rust en het prettige e-mail contact met de eigenaar, alles geweldig. Deze villa is een echte aanrader.

Uitmuntend

Onze monden (11 personen) vielen open van verbazing. Wat een uitzicht en wat een toplocatie.! Boven op een berg met uitzicht over het hele gebied tot aan de zee. Voorzieningen van zeer goede kwaliteit van mes tot glas. Heerlijke lligbedden en badlakens van zeer goede kwaliteit. Nergens is op gespaard. Van harte aanbevolen en geen enkele minpunt.

Heaven on earth...

Eerste keer de weg naar boven was spannend, vervolgens werd het alleen maar leuker en leuker :-) Blijkbaar is deze "attractie" intussen wel "van de baan" met het stukje beton dat gestort is, wat het comfort voor de gasten toch wel zal verhogen. Eerste dagen waren ideaal om te "ontkoppelen" van het hectische leven, daarna wat afwisseling gezocht (wat wel nodig is met onze peuter). Lange wandelingen aan de dijk, ons zoontje's tafelmanieren leren in de talrijke restaurants (want spanjaarden zijn gek op kinderen!), Malaga bezocht (prachtige stad, nog veel bezoeken waard!!), pootje baden aan het strand, dorpjes verkennen,... Woning is prachtig en spic & span! What you see is what you get. Wij maken zeker reclame bij onze vrienden...

Superb!

The ride to the top was thrilling, the view exhilarating, the rooms spacy and clean, the weather marvelous, the swimming pool just the right size, several beaches, towns and cities around the corner. In other words: a no-brainer. We were looking for a villa to have a great time in Spain, and guess what: we found it :-)
