vacances familiales à Haute Croix

Nous avons fait un séjour de 2 semaines en famille. Le gite est une longère ancienne composée au rdc d'une grande salle salon-salle à manger-cuisine et d'un espace sommeil pour 4 personnes en 2 chambres avec salle d'eau et toilettes. A l'étage( grenier aménagé) c'est le coin dortoir , il y a une salle douche avec toilettes. L'aménagement de l'ensemble est cosy, on a l'impression d'être dans une maison familiale. L'environnement est apaisant, en pleine nature sans clôture, une idée de bien être. Les voisins les plus proches sont des chevaux de course et c'est très agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner en regardant passer les sulkys d'entraînement. Nous séjournions pendant la canicule la température est montée à 40° à l'ombre mais les murs épais nous ont protégés et permis d'avoir une relative fraîcheur surtout au rdc. La piscine de grande taille environ 12m/ 8m est bien profonde, bien aménagée avec de nombreuses chaises longues, balancelles, toilettes et douche, bien sécurisée par un grillage qui entoure le vaste terrain ombragé. La piscine est partagée avec les locataires des chalets alentours situés sur la propriété ce qui permet des rencontres avec les voisins. Les hôtes sont charmants à l'écoute de nos demandes à la fois très présents et efficaces mais tjs très discrets. La région est magnifique avec ses bastides, châteaux, grottes et surtout sa nature généreuse. Pour résumer en 4 mots: Sérénité, liberté, naturel, confort,

Les couchages sont d'époque, donc durs et pas moyen de fermer le robinet du lavabo de l'étage, donc les photos sont pas tres explicites. Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature !

Séjour extrêmement agréable entre amis. Enfants comme parents ont beaucoup apprécié les lieux. Un gîte rustique où l’on trouve tout le nécessaire pour un week-end dépaysant à la campagne. La piscine éloignée du gîte permet aux parents de profiter des lieux sans crainte. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les chevaux à proximité et la table de Ping Ping ! Une attention particulière portée à la propreté du gîte et au tri des ordures fort appréciée. Les parents ont adoré (entre autres) le magnifique BBQ de pierre sous les chênes. Côté piscine : L’endroit est sécurisé sans dénaturer la beauté des lieux. L’accès à la salle de bain et WC attenants permet de se changer sur place. Hôte très aimable. Les photos sont 100% fidèles. Nous recommandons fortement à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour dépaysant sans fioritures.

Propriété à gros potentiel, très bon séjour surtout dès qu il a fait beau, avec l accès à la piscine (même si loin a pied et plus éloigné que l annonce), le hamac, les jardins, le bois, le barbecue, etc… Points à améliorer à l intérieur : des moustiquaires pour tous les lits, les 2 douches, le lit superposé du dortoir sans barrières, quelques alèses à renouveler, la plaque gaz trouée par la rouille… Mais dans l ensemble, très bonne prestation en gîte : on recommande !!

Un beau gîte tout confort dans un cadre magnifique

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite à deux familles, dans une belle maison, au calme, dans une région magnifique. Aucun autre bruit que les grillons, un hôte à l'écoute et chaleureux, des équipements parfaits (le four à micro-onde est tombé en panne, il a été remplacé dans la journée). Nous reviendrons à l'occasion.

Great stay

The house is great for two or three families, in a very quiet countryside with a lot of outdoor space for the kids. The house is well equipped and in a great location for visiting the southern part of the Perigord. Our hosts were also very helpful. The only downside is that the pool is about 1 km away from the house, so it is a 10 minutes walk o 2 minutes trip by car.
