"Lake House is a great place!! The restaurant has great food and a staff that works hard. The young couple who manage both the hotel and restaurant are an energetic, bright and very interesting pair. They work hard to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. Sabina is helpful from the minute you make a reservation and is more than willing to direct you to most anywhere you would like to go in the surrounding area during your stay. The property is enormous, well kept and the pictures online are no trick camera angles to make it appear larger. The hotel has a long storied history. Now it’s a second generation business that takes pride in what it was and what it will continue to be!! Can’t wait to get back!!"

"Great stay at the Lake Front. Perfect spot to stay if you are in Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. The cafe is excellent for meals at any time of the day. We are from California. My wife described the setting as the Lake Tahoe of New York."
