“Communication was excellent, check in instructions were clear. When we first walked in we were impressed by the cleanliness, modern features, spaciousness, and view to the lake ALL in the first step into the condo. Another important feature that doesn’t get mentioned often is the comfort of the beds so I want to let people who are considering this property know that the beds are really comfortable.

“This was a great place to stay, inside and out. It was clean and had what we needed. My toddler son loved playing on the sandy beach and in the water with the stand up paddle boards and pedal boat. I would recommend it for a relaxing time away. ”

“We had such a wonderful stay! The location and home were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The beds were so comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts thought of everything, from having two types of coffee makers to beach toys and even an extra pack and play and high chair for the little ones. Every detail was carefully considered, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Fantastic stay at this property! We had 7 adults, a 3 year old and a 10 month old and the house was extremely comfortable for our whole group. The house was very well stocked with bathroom and kitchen supplies, bedding and beds were comfortable, and kitchen main floor was a great gathering space. Weather wasn’t nice enough to use the pool and lake much but if it had been warmer we definitely would have used more. Communication with manager Christine was easy and helpful. Would highly recommend! ”

“Kaiser House is a pleasant and comfortable cottage in a convenient, beautiful location. The outdoor lounging area is comfortably appointed and enjoyable, and the bay-facing sunporch is the best for sunrise views and morning coffee. The house is well-appointed with everything we needed except a tea kettle (but that's just us). The beds are comfortable and the host response is friendly and efficient. ”

“Such a beautiful and comfortable property in an amazing area of Michigan! This cottage is exceptionally appointed, with premium linens, kitchenware, condiments and bathroom needs. “This was our second time renting this lovely home. Perfect spot for our "Lake Week" with family coming from Colorado, Delaware,New York and Mi. Nestled in the woods on beautiful Long Lake, our large group had lots of room for games, cooking and relaxing on the deck. The dock area is perfect for sunning, kayaking and boating. Close to TC so you can explore all the fun wineries and sights! Thank you to our host for sharing their beautiful lake home with us. We hope to return next year! ”

“Shadowland River Lodge exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't quite capture how truly special the entire property is. We were reminded of our stay at the Lake Placid Lodge.
