「We were delighted to find this large waterfront cottage near Acadia last minute. It was everything we could have hoped for: the entire property was immaculate, the house is spacious and has very comfortable beds, a lovely living room and dining room with large windows and sliding glass door out to a deck overlooking the harbor. Nick, the host, was responsive and friendly. An added bonus was that we could launch our kayak from the dock and our dog was welcome. We'd love to go back next year.」

「The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.」

「Such a cute house! Very clean and dog friendly. Very close to downtown Southwest Harbor (very convenient if you’re considering the MDI marathon in the future) and not a far drive to Bar Harbor if you’re interested in that! I had some technical issues with the Vrbo app so had to reach the host via phone. She was extremely responsive and kind. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Lovely, fresh, and cozy place. Loved the hot tub, the deck was beautiful and I wish we had time to use the nice fire pit surrounded by the trees. Beds were comfortable and showers great. The TV is quite high and due to space the couches are not set back enough. I’m not sure with the space if you could improve it much. We got used to it. It was a great place to unwind after exploring the park and the lighthouse and seawall are just around the corner.」

「I would not rent or suggest this property for anyone. The house itself had lots of room but so many things that were lacking. The amount paid for the house was not worth what the property presented. The steep stairs were a hazard waiting to happen. Very dangerous for older people, not for me but to each his own.」

「Spacious house. Quiet area. The house is cute. We saw wildlife in the back yard. The kitchen pans and the silverware need an upgrade. There were many ac units which was very appreciated. There was a strong smell in the basement bedrooms. We did love our stay.」

「The house needs to be fixed. There were several windows without screens and since there is no air conditioning it was extremely hot. There were stains on the furniture and the master bed was extremely uncomfortable. The grass was not cut and paint was peeling off house. The pool was extremely excellent and refreshing and large enough for whole family. The owner said there were fans in every room but there was not so we had to go buy fans. 「It was a great location for our multi-generational family vacation-- a short car ride to the Hull Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park. The street was a quiet private road. Our granddaughters and grand-dog had room to romp and play. Well stocked, well maintained and tastefully appointed.Everything about the home was perfect for us!」
