I arrived at 930pm to find I should have received an access code via email in order to access the property and check in to my room. I did not receive an email with the access code and there was no staff on site. So, at 10pm I had to find other accommodations. I messaged the staff thru the Expedia app and left a voicemail. I’ve still not received a reply or a refund notice for the room night.”

“While the Strawberry Valley Inn has cute grounds and the pizza next door is fabulous), the rooms are dated. It feels like 1980s decor, and the mattress is woefully inadequate, old, squeaky, and uncomfortable. It really needs a remodel.”

“Loved our stay, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was central to Shasta/Burney and gave the feel of old world charm. The only reason to give 4 star was that it would be great if there were light filtering drapes, the blind was letting too much light in making it hard to sleep after 6am, that's how I like 'dark' but rest of the stay was lovely.”

“Arrived to find the office closed with a hand written note explaining lobby was closed and that you had to inquire at the hotel across the street. That hotel was also closed. Parking lot had bbqs in parking stalls, a kiddie pool in another with absolutely no parking available. We never did get checked in and had to find another hotel for the night.”
