"I needed to stay somewhere after having surgery in Tyler. This house was a great spot on the lake very peaceful. There were plenty of trash bags and thoughtful things like night lights. Plenty of towels and a great washer and dryer. A Keurig that could do a carafe or single serve (cause coffee)! Will stay again in the fall if possible because the view and balconies must be witnessed at that time for sure. If you want to get away but not drive a state away this is the spot to chill"

"AC did not work. Wet hallway carpet. Water standing on back patio. Rickety dining chairs. All older men in our group. Fishing at nearby lakes. Overall it was a nice place good location. Hot tub was great. Very clean. Nice amenities."

"The property is beautiful, quite and serene. The four star rating was because the discription was somewhat misleading. If I had read the reviews I would have seen that there were 2-1/2 baths. One with stool and sink and the second with a bathtub/shower and sink which had to be entered through the main bedroom. Also the fourth bedroom is actually the sun room with a futon. The other thing we found somewhat concerning was only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, a 1/2 roll of paper towels and 2...

"Great location! Lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy with the siblings. Frank responded quickly to solve our check in issue. Our fishing members were rewarded with a catfish and several perch. And when we went into Frankston, we enjoyed the (surprise) arts and crafts in the town square. Our only disappointment was that the house was not as updated as the one we rented last year."

It was super clean, had all the ammenities and was lacking nothing. We absolutely loved the fact that it wasn’t right in town, and had a country feel. "From the minute we sat on the porch, our stress dissolved. This was the PERFECT weekend getaway! Our host helped hook us up with a fishing guide, and we FEASTED like royalty! "It was a wonderful stay! The Cottage has such nice touches and finishes. They think of everything you could need. I ordered a flower arrangement, fire side s'more's, fresh fruits and pastries. All of it was phenomenal. The owner is very kind and accessible. The outside hot tub was so relaxing and the fire pit was so enjoyable. I recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a peaceful getaway."
