Great Location, Cozy Cabin

The cabin was so nice and cozy and it had plenty of room for our entire group. It was also fully stocked with kitchen supplies and various spices. The location was excellent and the free shuttle service was perfect for going snowboarding at Northstar. The host was incredibly responsive and checked in to make sure everything was alright. I'd book here again! Highly recommend.

Great Property. Excellent Owners

The house was close to Northstar. Owners were easy to work with! Only some minor issues with the home (showers didn't function properly and one of the bunks were rickety) Other than that, it was a beautiful home and I would gladly stay there again.

Excellent location! Nice cabin for family stay!

We spent 5 nights with our kids and our friends at the property. It is a great location! We were enjoying short shuttle rides from and back to the village to snowboard with kids and skate after 4 pm. We spent a nice moment at Christmas! The owner was very attentive to our needs.

The home was spacious, even for 3 families with kids. Proximity to mountain biking and Kings Beach was perfect for our group.

Dated but spacious and great location

This house had enough space beyond what 3 families (6 adults, 4 kids) needed. We could have brought 2 more families and felt comfortable! It is also a fantastic location on the shuttle route to the Northstar village. The kids that didn't ski were able to sled and play around the property, which slopes down to a creek in the back (little ones should be supervised). There was enough to do that we didn't have a chance to use the community center, so I can't speak to that perk. These were the main selling points and they were as-advertised. The house is a bit dated on the inside, but all appliances and fixtures were functional, and everything was very clean. The kitchen had all the tools and utensils (and spices, too!) to feed a small army. There were also plentiful linens and towels. There was an issue with the electronic lock upon arrival. It was dead, but I wasn't sure if I just wasn't using it right. The host was responsive in providing an alternate means of entering the property, but it was a challenging delay after a long drive with kids in the car. The host collaborated with us to have the lock repaired during our visit and it all worked out. For the location, amount of space, and communicativeness of the host, we would definitely stay again.

Best VRBO ever!

We had a huge crew and the house was perfect. Most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at, tons of room, lots of beds, everything we needed and more. Great sledding hills behind the house for the kids. Perfect place for families!

Very comfortable with plenty of rooms

The house was well equipped to handle our group of 10, and could have handled a few more. Pretty much as described - a simple open plan living / kitchen / dining room with a master bedroom suite on the main level; and four bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Each bedroom featured a different forest animal in its art and decor! There's comfortable furniture throughout, supporting a relaxing stay.

Amazing experience from beginning to end

I wish I could give this 10 stars! We booked Davids house for my wife's birthday trip with some friends and family. From the very beginning David was incredibly nice and answered each of my questions right away. He also wanted to make sure we had an awesome experience so he made sure to make our stay as amazing as possible and we 100% did! He is the perfect host! The house was amazing and in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were perfect with plenty of beds and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house is fully stocked for everything that you need and the overall atmosphere gives-off the perfect vibes for a weekend in the snow! You can take the shuttle to Northstar and they will drop you off right at the resort and then bring you back to your doorstep. The yard was perfect for sledding and David has plenty of sleds in the closet for you to use. All of us agreed we are going to make this a yearly trip and plan to book this house every time.

Great atmosphere

Cozy and great vibes all around. Place is close by stores and all things to do in Tahoe. My family and I really enjoyed it! And made it easy to eat in when kitchens has everything you need! Will definitely stay there again I hope for winter next time.

mountain house

The house was great for our large family. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Only problem in kitchen were the knives. We cook a lot and they were really useless. The family that lives in the area brought knives for us. I suggest a sharpener be in the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are some wonderful hiking trails with in walking distance. Short drive to the grocery store and the beach. A good time was had by all.

Fun in the snow

We spent a few days in this vacation rental and had a lovely time. My son loved the snow toys, we played many of the games in the game cabinet and I don't have a single complaint.

Perfect for skiing Northstar

Cabin was in such a great location and very cute! Just some things to call out - you really can only fit 3 cars and most of the light switches don’t work (need to use lamps).

Amazing Christmas

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Tahoe house. The owner was very responsive to our questions and treated us like family when we got snowed in offering access to “owner” areas and supplies if we needed. The house was easy to access and the layout gave us lots of space to cook, eat, hang out and find alone time. The location was awesome for access to Northstar, neighborhood walks and getting snowed in for multiple days. We wish we could experience the house in the summer time when the decks and outdoor space might be more usable. The kids found the space between houses to be a great setting for a sled hill. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils baking sheets etc. The house has a great system where renters use food items, pantry items etc if needed and leave behind anything they might not want to take. The spices, oils and sauces were plentiful and the idea of donating to an already well stocked house felt good when we left behind pantry items which were not worth packing back home. The driveway was very spacious for our 3 full size vehicles. Winter Renter tip: the snow plows come by very early in the morning (when we were there) so the cars need to be out of the way at that time. (We parked cars in adjacent driveways which had already been plowed for a few minutes to allow ours to get plowed.)

Great location, pleasant home

The cabin was great for our needs, and great location for Northstar. There is a free shuttle to and from the mountain if you get the app which was very convenient. Plenty of beds, was hard for us to understand from description what rooms looked like with a number of couples coming, but it was 3 private rooms with queen beds, then 2 “shared” rooms (one with ~4 single beds with 2 in a bunk; and the other shared room had a queen size i think bunk bed); additional miscellaneous couch type sleeping space we didn’t need. Overall great though, would return
