This was a perfect house for two families to share and the house was immaculate. Our teens loved the lower family room complete with old school video games. The views from the hot tub were enjoyed by everyone. We appreciated the easy access to the mountain biking trails. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful mountain top getaway

Family Get Together

House worked great! Plenty of room for three family members with one family having a 18 month and 2 year old. Not far from Truckee and lakes and trails. We hope to be back next year.

Impressions of the rental property

The property was as listed and amenities were very good. The view looking out was very pleasant along with the weather. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay with nearby activities and closeness to downtown Truckee. We would use this property in the future

Perfect!

We have been renting homes in the area for the past 5 years, and this home was by far the best one yet. It accommodated our large family perfectly. The home is well stocked with dishes, games, puzzles, extra jackets. The neighbors were very friendly, and the views were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

A bright, beautiful spacious house with gorgeous views. Fully and luxuriously equipped. All appliances feel new! Everything is spotless. We also spent countless hours playing the arcade games. Our group is unanimous: let’s always stay here!

Sweet location

The home is beautiful and so spacious - very kid friendly! The backyard has a nice and open space for the kids to sled. The only hiccup we had was the oven, it didn’t heat above 180 degrees so it was hard to cook out planned dinner. Otherwise, great location.

Great home, well equipped, can get tons of snow

This is a fantastic place. We went during a historic snow storm. We noticed this location gets the most snow in the Truckee area and the least frequent snow plowing because the street is at the end-of-the-line. We shoveled 10 inches of snow 4 times over 2 days just to get in/out of the driveway. The novelty wore off quickly but we still had a great time and I would definitely rent the place again.

Fun 4th of July

We really enjoyed this house. It was exactly the right size for us. We loved that it felt a little more remote than the other houses that we have stayed at in Tahoe Donner. The house had amazing views of the mountains from the back deck. My only complaint that I have is the house got a little hot during the day. Although, I can't fault the owners, we were in Truckee during an usually hot period. The owners did have fans in all the rooms, so that helped with the heat. The house was very comforable and had all things we needed. Thank you! We will use this house again.

Beautiful House, questionable management

House was exactly as described, beautiful, everything we needed for our stay. But during out stay the roof started leaking and water was coming in the ceiling onto the floor and the bed in the master. This happened on the first night of our 4 night stay. We contacted the property management company, sent photos, and placed the bowls in the floor like they asked. They said they would send someone out immediately, this person came two days laters on our last day. Two of the people had to sleep on couches during our stay and we were declined any sort of acceptable/partial refund or anything from the property management company even though we couldn't use one of the bedrooms during our vacation and were forced to sleep on sofas in the common area.

Beautiful clean house with an amazing view!

Beautiful & clean Home. Amazing views. Loved the trail system nearby for trail running & mountain biking. House had a fair amount of dog hair on furniture & carpets for a “no pet” home. Manager offered to send cleaning crew but we didn’t bother. Would be an issue for those with allergies tho. Would definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Great Views

The home is beautiful and everything is modern and in good condition. The pics match the actual house. Two minor issues: No king-sized bed and the main family room really only has seating for 5. We would rent it again.

Awesome Vacation Home

This is a house we will definitely be returning to in the near future. The week that we stayed, the air quality was actually pretty bad due to the wildfires. We were limited to how much we could go outside so we all appreciated the fact that the house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to downtown Truckee (great shopping and restaurants)! Everyone enjoyed our week-long visit and we are already looking at the calendar as to when we can return!

End of summer vacation

Great house, perfect for 6 adults, we could have accommodated more in the bunk room but younger children would work best there. Lots of open space, room for all to eat plays games etc. Best equipped kitchen I ever experienced, they had everything. Great view, when the smoke cleared out. It is a little bit out of the way if your planning to go to Lake Tahoe for things, but manageable. It would be a perfect location if it was ski season!!

The house was perfect!! Great views and really peaceful. Sat outside every morning for Coffee and breakfast with the family. Not to far from Donner lake or down town. Great place we really loved!!

Large family cabin

Loved the property, perfect size for our family. Home did not have enough paper sundries ( garbage bags,tp, paper towels ) for this price point I expected that. In my past rentals , this has never been an issue.

Pinnacle Loop Retreat

What a wonderful home. The owners have maintained a really lovely place! There were 9 of us there and it we really enjoyed the house. The place was impeccable. I would rent this home again without hesitation.
