We liked the spaciousness of the room, the grounds, and the location. We did not like a patio that could not be used because the door was permanently closed and locked. We were originally assigned a room on the second floor, but we had to switch because they did not have elevators or a person to carry our bags to the second floor

This property was an old homestead that has been converted into a hotel. I had a king suite that was superb - big bedroom and big dining/living room suitable for my business meetings. The on-site restaurant is wonderful, with indoor and outdoor dining, a large bar and excellent food. There is no complimentary breakfast now, but the food served at the breakfast buffet is 2 steps higher in quality than the complimentary breakfasts served at many places. Its only 8 minutes from U of A, so keep that in mind when visiting your kid on college.

Cielos is a very pleasant option for all meals during the day. Food and service both very good, nice ambience. Our room was spacious and bathroom was well-equipped. Grounds are well-kept. Location convenient to most of Tucson.

The grounds were nice and pretty with good landscaping. They have pet friendly rooms. You can bring your dogs to the restaurant patio. The windows were outdated and let in a lot of noise. With an evening party on the grounds, it was very loud.

This continues to be a great property but some of the changes under new ownership have made it not quite as good. Breakfast is no longer included in your stay. The cost of the buffet is too high to be much of an option. We have been staying here regularly for years and the quality of the restaurant Ceilos has definitely gone down hill. While still ok, it used to be excellent and one of the main conveniences of staying here. However, the wait staff has always been great. Last night Amanda did a great job.
