"The view is incredible. We hiked a few trails that are most popular in the canyon (Lighthouse for one) and could see the house from the trail. House is dated, but very comfortable. Host checked to confirm all was OK. If you like a great view, this is a great choice."

"My best advice is do not arrive at 11:30 pm!!! It is very hard to see and we had to roam the property to find our cabin. The directions made perfect sense in the daylight, not so much in the pitch black. Cabin was as advertised and great for one night!"

"We had originally planned a trip to the Grand Canyon, but had to adjust our travel plans—and we are so glad we did! We absolutely loved this house!Our two exchange students said this was the best trip because the area looks nothing like what they are used to seeing in Europe. They loved the canyon and were so excited about all of the Route 66 things to see and do.Beverly, our host, met us at the house with fresh homemade guacamole and drinks and was full of helpful information and recommendations for our stay. I had mentioned that we were celebrating one of our exchange students' 16th birthday, and Beverly had a special glass waiting for her and even hung a Happy Birthday banner. It was such a thoughtful touch and made her feel incredibly special.Sitting outside in the mornings with our coffee, watching the sunrise over the canyon along with the deer and birds, was absolutely wonderful.We have a feeling this may become a regular trip for us with future exchange students. The girls have already told us this is definitely a trip they recommend!Thank you, Beverly, for helping make it such a memorable weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!"

"We stayed over Labor Day weekend to attend a concert, celebrate my birthday, and relax with friends and everything about our stay was perfect! Trust me when I say that despite how good the pictures on the site are they don’t/can’t do justice to how incredible the view is from the house. It took my breath away each time I saw it and watching the sun rise over the canyon each morning with a cup of coffee was probably the highlight of my trip. If you are looking for comfortable, well stocked accommodations with a kind and very responsive host and a view that will knock your socks off then look no further than the Cliffside home. I can’t wait for our next visit!"
