“The hotel has a large parking place. The food in the restaurant is delicious. The staff is quite professional with high efficiency.”

“Clean, good location, pleasant staff and overall a good stay. I am happy to recommend this hotel for a stay.”

“Check in was chaotic and our evening meal booking was lost! This meant a late evening dining time. When I got to my room it was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned (see photo of Bath plug) This was disgusting and reported to reception but it took another day before resolution. No offer was made to change room or compensation. I have since left messages with manager to try to discuss this issue but had no response which is extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. I would not come……

“This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

“Unusable internet I had to check out early because I couldn’t get any work done”

“Convenient location bang in the middle of Selkirk. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast very good but, at £35 a head, very expensive.”
