From Harlingen there is a ferry to the Wadden Islands Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. Only 5 km from the vacation home is the town of Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Make a visit here to the old town and the planetarium. 22 km from the vacation home is Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland. The vacation home is located about 7 km from the indoor swimming pool Bloemketerp in Franeker.
