「My wife and I took a long weekend break and stayed in the Shawood Bottling Room. It was a wonderful stay. Nice high ceilings, good kitchen, parking, etc. Everything we were hoping for. We made our way up the paddock to watch the sunset each night, which was a great suggestion from the host.
Not a critique, but I would have loved to have the option to purchase some local wine too. Mind you, we did shop ourselves at the various cellar doors.
A great space and location to get away from it all.」

「We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us around our accommodation.The house was spotless and has all the modern amenities with ample room for a large family. a large covered entertainment area plus a huge neatly mown lawn.The view from the front veranda allows you to sit and relax while watching the cattle in an adjoining paddock.We will most certainly be returning to this farmhouse that is only a five minute drive to the centre of Gulgong with it's museums and social outlets, plus...
