“We had an absolutely beautiful stay—it was the perfect weekend getaway! The cottage sits right between cotton fields and cattle pastures, offering peaceful views all around. The hot tub in the back and soaking tub on the side made it even more relaxing. Our host truly thought of everything. We were welcomed with locally made pecan coffee, pancake mix, syrup, and fresh eggs from their chickens, which was such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the bathroom even had……

The house is closer to the road than I imagined, but the owner had white noise machines, and we slept without any issues. Great place!”

“Clean and accommodating. The house was near a very busy road (Houston Lake ), so traffic noise was an issue. We did have a very entertaining evening watching the 3 police vehicles stopping one car after another for speeding. This lasted a couple of hours.The location was perfect for our needs-we were 15 minutes away from the fairgrounds and the route to the fairgrounds was easy.If anything,I would recommend expanding the porch are at the back of the house as the back yard was big and quiet.”
