"Hotel was nice. but a few hiccups: 1. We didn’t receive fresh towels or coffee (i.e., cleaning service) on our second day. 2. We were placed in a room that was directly across from a meeting room where a prayer service was held early on Sunday morning. We were awoken by loud voices and singing. 3. I had to ask for breakfast vouchers ( they were not offered) even though they were included in our weekend package. My brother who was in a separate room was not told about nor did he ever receive the vouchers."

"The room was very clean, but there hasn’t been a lot of investment in the property. Very worn down and boardering on seedy."

"Our room was very spacious. The property is currently renovating two floors but managed to be ready for guests during graduation weekend at University of Iowa. All employees, no matter their title, we're willing to help and attend to our needs. The breakfast was enjoyable with a nice variety of food options."

"The room smelled so bad. Like smoke plus wet carpet. We had to buy a box fan and then open our door and run the fan for an hour at first then run air con, open window even though it was raining outside and run the box fan at night. The rooms are worn and tired although the shower pressure was good and water was warm. Carpet in room made me wear socks all the time. "

"This is a very well-maintained property. The beds are comfy and the bathroom counter spacious. Even the grounds surrounding it are meticulous and there are sheltered tables outside. You’ll find numerous restaurants a short drive away and a Culvers a short walk away. We will definitely return! "
