"This apartment in a home near the Masonic Care Home was better than staying in a hotel. The owner met us at the door to see if we needed any help. It was less than a five minute ride to the campus. I will be checking in the future to see if it is available each time I'm in the area. Again more comfortable then a hotel room."

"We had a very good stay. The house was as described and quite clean. The location was perfect! I agree with another review about one of the beds being noisy. A few suggestions: more bath towels and perhaps a binder explaining how to use the Roku TV setup, and internet, and mention nearby activities. We had a very nice time enjoying the views of the lake and saw many birds and bunnies. Thank you."

"Dealing with our host was great. I had to change dates and he was very helpful. The apartment is large with all things needed to cook. I loved the electric fireplace and huge TV in living room. I was mining so the entrance to hang jackets and boots before entering house was fantastic. Plenty of space to lounge and rest. The kitchen was great to cook. "My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property."

"To see the 2024 eclipse, celebrate a big birthday and relax and bond with our adult daughters, this was a good place. The owner is communicative and helpful, and we were a good fit as a family looking to have a pretty relaxed time, as opposed to a party. "We stayed here during our Fall Break. We had come from a family wedding in NYC and my high schooler wanted to do a tour of Syracuse University. This was the perfect spot. Close to university and very relaxing after the rush of the city. I enjoyed waking up and watching the fish jump and the birds flying. The weather was not cooperative and we did not get outside much, but we did enjoy walking out on the dock."
