The property is also within easy reach of the amenities and activities in Knightstown, as well as offering beautiful views across the water. It also offers a variety of sightseeing boat trips and fishing trips from its picturesque harbour. With around 650 residents, Valentia Island was the site of the first permanent communications link between Europe and the United States, and is famed for its magnificent 'Fogher' sea cliffs and its subtropical gardens at Glanleam House.
