「Outstanding location in the old town close to the main square with free car parking just beyond the ruined castle (if you can find a space - can get very busy!). You should pay for the rooms with views out over the canyon - we were on the top floor and the view was stunning! Very positive that the hotel was dog-friendly and lived up to that, with there being no problem to enter the breakfast area with our labrador. 「Alarcón is a beautiful spot to spend a few quiet days. The scenery is spectacular and there are many options for hiking or simple walks. The hotel was wonderful. Javier was friendly and allowed us to use our Spanish even as he could easily have switched to English. I appreciate this! He is knowledgeable about the area and had good advice on things we might like to see. The food was great and the hotel was peaceful. I would love to go back. 」
