「New property. Clean, modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, but we were only staying one night. It was quiet. We saw several deer in the adjacent field when we woke up! Breakfast was standard. I prefer more fresh fruit options. Overall a good stay.」

「The room was clean and comfortable and climate control worked well. The pet fee was reasonable, BUT there needs to be more parking lot lighting to make it safe to walk dogs, and there needs to be a trash container for bagged pet waste. The lack of lighting was a BIG problem. Only one working outdoor light on the far end of the building.」

「Second time staying here and I'm so glad I found a nice, safe hotel for a great price! It's nearby the interstate and very modern. I will keep staying here when I'm in the Des Moines area.」

「It’s a decent property, room 218 was right next to the elevator, probably woke me up 4-5 times in the night, it was awful, everything else was okay…」

「Warm cozy Northwoods atmosphere. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The outdoor fire ring was awesome. The pool although small, my daughter still had a good time in it. Our suite was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was very filling and coffee hot. 10/10 would definitely come back again. 」

「Stopped here for a quick night while driving cross country. Easy on and off I-80… older motel, family run, outside looks sketchy but the inside has been nicely maintained. Clean room, comfortable beds, microwave and fridge, close to restaurants. Seemed pricey for what it is. ($80.00). We stayed at comparable places for less. No breakfast , Casey’s truck stop adjacent, coffee and breakfast sandwiches…. 」

「Needs a renovation. Rooms were disgusting and rundown. Our room stunk of smoke and stagnant air. Went to open window which was full of black mold. Last two inches of stick used to secure window was all black mold. Have tried calling management three times and they are always gone for an emergency. Have not returned any of my calls. 」

「Rooms are clean, people sre nice but the hotels in disarray. Ac is missing the fsce and buttons, tvs sitting on the desk because it cant be mounted on the wall for some reason and its outdated. Floors look like they need s major overhaul, list goes on. For the price its decent but they could do so mych more with this place」
