La perfection

Le lieu est charmant, très confortable et sa localisation remarquable dans un village calme et sympathique avec une vue incroyable sur la Sainte Victoire et le château Picasso. Impossible de ne pas revenir prochainement.

Bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus

Wir haben wundervolle Tage in Vauvenargues verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses, der Blick von der Terrasse, die liebevolle Einrichtung, perfekt. Es fehlte an nichts. Wir haben Ausflüge in die nähere, Aix, und weitere Umgebung, Les Baux, Silvacane, Le Thoronet unternommen. Die Barrage am Lac de Bimont war leider gesperrt. Die Landschaft dort trotzdem wunderschön und einen Ausflug wert. Dank an Anne Marie, Christine und Michel.

Endroit mémorable

Magnifique maison située dans un petit village coquet et tranquille. L'aire de vie *salon cuisine* nous permet d'accéder à une superbe terrasse avec vue sur la montagne Ste-Victoire, de toute beauté. Endroit idéal pour deux couples, les chambres étant sur différents étages, chacun a son intimité. Un merci spécial à Christine pour son accueil et son aide. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet endroit.

Wundebarer Aufenthalt

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast in diesem wunderbar restaurierten Haus. Der Ausblick vom Balkon oder vom Bett auf die montagne Sainte-Victoire war immer wieder neu. Ein kleiner Spar in Fußweite, jeden Tag geöffnet, versorgte uns mit allem was wir brauchten. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Christine, Michel und Mijo

Un coin de paradis...

Vue imprenable sur le château, son parc, sa mare (et son concert de grenouilles...). Maison fonctionnelle, meublée avec goût. On s'y sent chez soi. Plus une belle nature environnante. Promenades dans le village, marché à Jouques, restaurant à Puyloubier, route Cézanne, Aix-en-Provence et un tour à Gréoux les Bains et Manosque. Très belle semaine. Merci!

Lovely 3 Month Stay

It was a very special time for us to be in Michele and Mijo’s “La Vista” for our winter rental of nearly 3 months. The house is one of the most attractive we’ve rented during almost 50 years of travel. It has everything in the ways of convenience and need--- roominess, comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen, washing machine, reliable high-speed internet, convenient parking in front of the house. Too, there are delightful hangings and prints on the walls; a wonderful variety of objects on shelves; and a full range of books of literature, maps, and information on the area. In the morning you wake to a view of the small valley below with Mont Sainte-Victoire towering above (a stunning sight that is panoramic from the lovely terrace); and when you return in late afternoon the house is flooded with light and warmth. The family-centered and community-centered village is charming and lively with the village market open for basic needs 7 days a week. The area is a hiker’s delight with many, many trails in the surrounding hills and mountains. Beyond Vauvenargues, the region is richly filled with villages, towns, and varied landscapes. And only 20 minutes away by bus is Cezanne’s Aix with its history, art, architecture, culture, markets, squares, fountains, shops. Added to all of this was the kindness and thoughtfulness of Christine, who cares for the house. Simply put: our entire stay, day after day, was pure pleasure.

Mooie uitvalsbasis met prachtig uitzicht op de Mont Sainte Victoire

Mooie woning, alles erop en eraan. Als welkom een lekkere fles wijn! Plaatsje is autovrij en dat was niet duidelijk bij het inchecken. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt, o.a. naar Aix, en mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Supermarktje in het dorp aanwezig en 2 restaurantjes.

Das Dörfchen: wunderschön, charmant, ruhig, die Einwohner, die Nachbarin (Ansprechpartnerin für uns)sehr nett und hilfsbereit; das Haus: gemütlich, sympathisch, zweckmäßig eingerichtet, blitzsauber, hell, von der Terrasse zauberhaften Blick in alle Richtungen, u.a.auf das Schloß von Picasso und den Berg, den Cézanne oft und gern gemalt hat; die Landschaft: beruhigend, die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten vielfältig. Ein klasse Urlaub, wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt, gut erholt und viel unternommen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick zuhause gefühlt. Die Schlüsselübergabe mit Christine erfolgte reibungslos. Das Dorf ist ursprünglich und hat Charme. Der Blick vom Balkon ist grandios. Tolle Wandermöglichkeiten ab Vauvenargues. Der kleine Sparmarkt ist gut sortiert - leckeres Baguette zum Frühstück. Ganz lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit!!!!

Maison agréable avec vue imprenable

Excellent séjour, la maison est située dans un village calme. La vue à partir de la terrasse est splendide. Maison en tout point conforme au descriptif, très bonne literie, une excellente adresse que nous conserverons pour une prochaine fois.

Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails

Tout était parfait. Toutes les commodités sont à disposition dans le moindre détail (ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle de qualité, etc...). Propreté impeccable. Belles prestations : chambres spacieuses, vue magnifique de la terrasse, place de parking devant la propriété. Village calme, supérette à proximité, restaurant, bar. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Que du bon temps

Nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille dans cette jolie maison aménagée avec goût. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. La vue de la terrasse est superbe, très reposante. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et encore merci pour le petit + (Vincent et sa gentillesse). Nous garderons l'adresse et reviendrons avec plaisir à Vauvenargues, charmant petit village provençal.

Very Comfortable Clean House in a Quiet Village

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a particularly clean and comfortable house. It was exactly as described on the site and we support the many positive reviews. A good deal of thought has been devoted to making available many of the small things one need to live in a home for an extended period. Christine was attentive to our needs and presents the house beautifully. While the village is quiet it provides all one needs and the supermarket is a 10 minute drive. The village shop has all the basics and the restaurant provides good meals.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben uns als Familie (3 Personen) in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war perfekt vorbereitet (es befindet sich alles im Haus was man braucht ) und wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich begrüßt. Die Umgebung bietet alles was man für einen aktiven Urlaub benötigt: tolle familienfreundliche Wanderungen, wer möchte Felslettern in perfektem Fels: Besuche in Aix en Provence; Fahrten ans Mehr (z.B. Cassis) oder einfach faulenzen auf der Terrasse sind mögliche Urlaubstätigkeiten. Das Dorf ist abends sehr ruhig und ein perfekter Rückzugsort. Wie werden nochmal wiederkommen.

Geschmackvolles Häuschen mit Traumblick auf Schloss und Berge oss

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allem, was man braucht. Die Betreuung durch die Nachbarn ist sehr hilfreich. Ein Katzensprung nach Aix en Provence und gute Wandermöglichkeiten zeigen die zentrale Lage. Der Ort ist freundlich, zwei Restaurants und ein Supermarkt bieten eine gute Versorgung vor Ort. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war unkompliziert und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Ruhe in vauvenargues

Wir haben diesen Ort gewählt um von da aus verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Provence anzufahren, bzw. bekannte Städte. Leider war die lavendelblüte nocht ganz so weit gediehen wie wir erhofft hatten. Die Unterkunft war sehr nett, Terrasse mit Blick auf den Sainte Victoire. Einen Strich durch unsere Pläne hat uns jedoch das Wetter gemacht, besser die unglaubliche Hitzewelle. Daher sind wir 2 Tage früher abgereist Richtung Meer. Das wäre für einen Tagesausflug doch zu weit entfernt gewesen. Zusammenfassend: wer absolute Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist in dem Haus bestens aufgehoben. Für weiter entfernte Ziele liegt es doch ein bisschen abseits, zumal der Anfahrtsweg sehr kurvig ist.
