Delightful apartment with a lovely private terrace and canal view. The entire apartment overlooks the water and the terrace is a flowery oasis where you can relax and spend unforgettable moments.
A perfect place to enjoy the atmosphere of Venice.

The area is very quiet, close to typical shops and restaurants and well connected to the airport, train station and islands.
First floor with double bedroom, single bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Air conditioning, internet, wifi.

The apartment is located in a very quiet residential area. Located on the first floor it is easily accessible with a single flight of stairs. The apartment overlooks the water and is composed as follows:
- entrance
- large double bedroom with double bed
- bedroom with single bed
- living room with sofa bed (real thick and comfortable mattress measures 140cmx200cm)
- equipped kitchen
- bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet, hairdryer
- private terrace: a special space where you can eat or drink a glass of wine while enjoying the view of gondolas that pass along the canal

Very easy to reach, both on foot and by vaporetto, the apartment is just a few minutes from the Madonna Dell'Orto vaporetto stop (direct connection to the airport and railway).

You will find the apartment perfectly clean. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

The apartment is located in Cannaregio, one of the six sestieri of Venice. This is a famous area of Venice, known for local restaurants and places of interest: the Jewish Ghetto (the first in the world), the Gothic church of the Madonna dell'Orto, Ca'D'Oro (one of the most beautiful palaces overlooking the Grand Canal), the Casinos and spectacular landscapes and sunsets to be immortalised.
It is one of the most typically Venetian areas, where you can still enjoy life from the point of view of citizens.
The apartment is off the main chaotic streets, in a peaceful area next to the birthplace of the famous Renaissance painter Tintoretto. Despite not being on one of the main roads, everything you need is within walking distance (typical restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy, pastry shop, etc.) and the main attractions are within walking distance in a short time.

The place was clean and was exactly like the description given. It is close to shops and restaurants. The hosts were amazing and helpful. The host kindly offered and arranged for us to be picked up right outside our door by a water taxi to get to train station.

Réception à l'appartement

Nous avons eu une très mauvaise expérience à notre arrivée par la bateau Alilaguna. Nous avons perdu notre connection internet et nous n'avions aucun repère pour arriver à l'appartement. Comme l'appartement était à 6 minutes du quai, je ne comprends pas pourquoi on ne pouvait pas venir nous chercher plutôt que de nous y attendre. Nous avons pris plus d'une heure pour trouver l'appartement. Ce fut très frustrant. Le jeune homme qui nous a accueilli n'avait qu'une hâte, c'était de partir. Tout le reste du séjour à l'appartement s'est très bien déroulé. C'est un appartement tranquille dans un quartier paisible.

Great place!

We enjoyed staying at this apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and away from the tourism zone, but close to a water taxi spot. We were met at the apartment for easy check-in and we were given suggestions on restaurants and where to buy groceries. The balcony was so nice to sit for breakfast and watch boats go up and down the canal. Wonderful place!

Real Venice Feel

We loved our stay at Ca Cammello. Great kitchen and bathroom. Clean. Loved the location. Felt like you were among locals and not tourists, but easily walkable to everything. Our only complaint (and honestly it isn't really a complaint) was the listing stated they had a/c. They do, but we were not allowed to use it. It was not too hot while we were there but would have been nice to know before we arrived. They did have screens on the windows (rare for Europe) which saved us from the mosquitos. The check-in/out process was smooth and easy. The hosts were very helpful with suggestions. All in all, a great place, and would definitely return.

Although we had a lot of rainy days while we were in Venice we thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was very clean and quiet. It is in a great location with groceries and history just steps away. Appartement très agréable et fonctionnel

Appartement situé dans Cannaregio, quartier assez calme et authentique, bien desservi par Madonna dell orto d un côté où San Marcuola d un autre. Nous avons apprécié bien sûr la jolie terrasse, mais aussi le confort de la literie, la clim très appréciable en ce chaud mois de juillet, le calme du quartier surtout animé par les activités quotidiennes des habitants. Des restos pas loin et la plupart de la ville accessible à pieds en 20 mn, donc facile de rayonner. Nous, reviendrons avec plaisir !

Great Home Base to Explore Venice

Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights in June. We had an excellent stay. The unit is located within easy walking distance of several must-see sites and local restaurants and is away from the tourist areas, which we all enjoyed. It is also close to the water busses, and we took these to Burano, Murano, Lido, and the bus station on the day we departed. We recommend getting transport passes if you’re staying more than a couple of days. We enjoyed Spritz’s at the piazza close to the property several times. The neighborhood is mostly locals, and we felt welcome and safe. The unit itself is well equipped and stocked, clean and cozy. The small porch is a wonderful place for coffee and an evening glass of wine. With 4 (including 2 teenagers) there was not a lot of extra space, but we spent most of our time out and about, stopping for quick recharge in late afternoon during the current heatwave. The hosts are attentive and easy to reach. Would stay again.

A great place to stay and a wonderful host!

Very comfortable first floor apartment with great patio on a lovely canal. Easy access to the waterbus and many nice restaurants. And an easy walk to San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge. Do not miss spending a good part of a day going to Murano and Burano. And do not miss the stunning views from the rooftop terrace at T Fondaco Dei Tedeschi (be sure to go online to make your reservations in advance). They will take your breath away, and potentially bring tears to your eyes. The host was AMAZING. She was there to welcome us, answer all our many questions, and provided lots of great information for our stay, including many great dining recommendations.

Amazing stay

Agata was a perfect host, answered any questions and provided great recommendations. The apartment was clean, modern with character, and of course the terrace!! The location is amazing, 5 min. walk from vaporetto stop and so easy to walk or ride vaporetto to wherever you want to go and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. I will be staying with Agata again!

Perfect spot

We loved coming home to this peaceful neighborhood. Agata was so kind, helpful and friendly! I highly recommend this spot for anyone coming to Venice. It was a bit of a walk to the main area (San Marco) but definitely worth it in my mind. If you’re not familiar with European locks on doors - make sure to go through it when the host is with you - it took us a few tries to get in our first time! Wonderful wonderful stay.
