Palads Hotel Viborg June 2024

The receptionist was very helpful; he directed us to park the motorbike in a safe area within lockable hotel grounds. Room was large, clean and well-appointed. We didn’t test the en suite sauna or whirlpool bath but the shower was good and the bed comfortable. On thisi occasion it suited us that it was a room-only booking so we could skip breakfast and get on the road.

Great location, bathroom needs deep cleaning

Hotel location is great and the breakfast was wonderful! Linens were clean and the room was clean and tidy. BUT the bathroom!!! It was "surface" clean, but there was mold in the grout in the shower and on the floor and walls. Yuck!

It's a toss-up.

With Palads hotel, it is all about the room you are going to get. One of their buildings is newer and has nicer rooms. Other buildings have moldy, smelly rooms that reek of mold and old age. We stayed in all of them as we were stuck in Viborg for a week due to a family emergency.

An original hotel in the city center of Viborg.

An original hotel in the city center of Viborg. The room was nice and had everything you need. Everyone was very nice at the hotel, but the reception closed around 8 pm and there was no service during the night. At my early morning check out I could not get my bill, because the person responsible for the computer were not arriving until 8 am.

Dårlig oplevelse

Skuffet, værelset levede slet ikke op som et hotelværelse skulle. Det lignede et kontor med stort skrivebord og kontorstol og kontor reoler og 3 stole. Det var ikke en dobbelt seng som lovet. Meget gammel badeværelse med sidde badekar det var ik nemt at stå i det. Koldt varmen virkede på værelset. Ingen sengeborde og tvet stod på et lille bord som man skulle sidde inde på kontoret og kigge man kunne ikke ligge i sengen og se tv.

Uhumsk badeværelse.

Vi skiftede værelse, da badeværelset ikke virkede. Vi fik et andet værelse, men badeværelset havde skimmelsvamp og vi havde på ingen måde lyst til at bade i det. Der ud over virkede fjernbetjeningen ikke, fik dog en anden der virkede. Men værelset og især badeværelset er ikke ok.

Personalet var rigtig søde, og det var en okay morgenmad. Værelset lugtede dog forfærdeligt af skimmel, og det var oplyst, at der var to enkeltsenge /dobbeltseng, men der var én 120 seng, og hovedpuderne var små pyntepuder. Alt det tøj, sko, jakker, tasker, toilettasker vi havde med lugter stadig af skimmel. Vi har måtte vaske det, der kunne og sende det andet til rens.
