Review of James Bay Inn
- It’s a very quaint hotel, but too quaint.
- The walls were paper thin!! You could hear the conversations of the people in the next room!! And in the hallways!!
- Internet service was very poor. I had to reinstall my iPhone, and it took over a day! At most that should have taken is less than an hour. We had a person come to the room and he advised us that service was “fine”, that service was slow because of all the people in the hotel. If that is “acceptable” service to you, my sincere apologies … I have a bridge to sell you!!
- The TV needs to be replaced. The person that came to the room knows all about it.
- Why does the small bar fridge need to be on the floor? That means getting on your hands and knees to access the fridge. Unacceptable!!
- The charger on my phone constantly displayed “slow charge”. Don’t try and tell me it was my charger, because the charger works fine elsewhere. There’s a lack of sufficient power coming to the rooms.
- There are no elevators and the stairs up to the main level are quite long & steep. There are two levels above that.
- There is no coffee in the rooms, so we have to go out to the main lobby to get a coffee. Really!!
- The bed is quite high, so we had to climb up into the bed. We felt that mini trampolines should’ve been provided.
- The chairs in the room were old. You sunk down into them and could tell that the bottom of the chair was very old.
